After sending off Sea King and his group, Fran personally took Wen Yu away, shedding the seriousness he had earlier, and said to Wen Yu with a smile.
Wen Yu gladly joked with Fran, "I can't help it; I'm a loner, ugly and poor, so I have to find some way to make a living with small trades."
Hearing Wen Yu's self-deprecation, Fran also laughed heartily.
Over the past five years, Fran has been responsible for linking the military with Wen Yu, becoming quite familiar with him. Plus, with Old Man Fran's distinctive charisma, Wen Yu quickly became close with him—even if not lifelong friends, they're certainly ordinary friends.
The two exchanged a few jokes and then turned back to discussing business.
