The piercing sound rang out, sharp and shrill, like someone was rubbing a sharp knife against the wall. As this sound grew nearer, Bai and Ye Nan just curled up in the corner of the room, their faces full of fear and panic.
Even though Ye Nan had been completely controlled by Bai, losing all consciousness, he was still trembling all over. If Bai weren't covering Ye Nan's mouth tightly, Bai wouldn't doubt that Ye Nan would scream out in extreme terror!
