"Why are you here?"
Marcus paused for a moment, then casually asked.
"Just came to see you, how about you?"
"Me?"
"Yeah, why are you here too?"
"I just came to get some sleep, the barracks are too noisy..."
"What about them?"
"Who?"
"Those underground..."
"..."
Faced with this question, Marcus was rendered speechless. He merely shook his head lightly and walked straight past Ray.
He didn't want to answer Ray's question.
However, a large hand grabbed Marcus.
"You have to give me an explanation!"
Ray spoke to Marcus, enunciating each word clearly, but the response he received was Marcus's resolute refusal!
"Snap."
The hand holding Marcus's sleeve was shrugged off as Marcus broke free. He glared at Ray, bellowing in frustration like a cat whose fur was bristling.
"Explanation? Explain what? I'm saving some of our kin, is that wrong?"
After saying this, Marcus took a deep breath, looked at Ray, leaned close to his face, and said word by word.
