Heavenly Monarch Chao explained:
"Among the many divine beasts of the Realm Sea, the five spirits are extremely special. To some extent, they can be said to be the embodiment of the rules of the Realm Sea, or even the manifestation of the Realm Sea of Origin within the Realm Sea itself. However, the rules of the Realm Sea ultimately cannot transcend the Realm Sea itself. Thus, while the five spirits can continuously elevate their realm, their limit is also quite clear, which is the peak of the Eighth Tier. This is the limit of the rules of the Realm Sea, and once surpassed, it becomes Mahayana or Ninth-Tier."
"The reason the five spirits cannot break through is the same situation as mentioned before; the rules in their bloodline are indeed the source of their strength but also the shackles that bind them from advancing further."
