"Where am I?"
Wang Ba slowly opened his 'eyes' and instinctively looked around.
He found himself unexpectedly in a stretch of 'sea water' shrouded in grayness.
Almost no light seemed to flow through.
Empty, clear, tranquil, with just a hint of grayness.
Vaguely, he could see particles floating in the water.
Whether looking forward or backward… it was all a vast emptiness.
Yet at the unseen horizon of 'sight', there seemed to be something huge rapidly gliding past in the deep sea…
Instinctively, he looked toward 'himself', but saw nothing, only beneath him.
No, he wasn't sure if this was really 'beneath'.
For he suddenly saw, in what he thought was 'below', footprints slowly pacing through his vision, treading upon the rippling water, with tiny waves spreading further out…
"Footprints?"
Wang Ba was slightly startled and instinctively wanted to swim towards the direction of the footprints.
