He could not bear the consequences of failure.
He knew all too well: if he could not break through to the Three Knowledge Realm, what awaited him would be the annihilation of his clan; the Void Clan, which had flourished for tens of billions of years, would become mere history.
Upon his shoulders rested the future of the Void Clan.
But what could he do to obtain even more energy?
"There is only this path!"
A moment later, a chill gleam flashed in the Void Lord's eyes as he muttered, "For the sake of the Void Clan, I can only sacrifice you all. Do not blame me..."
Finishing, he slammed his right foot onto the ground, releasing a tide of blood-colored energy that spread from him as the center across the surrounding starfield. In short order, it shrouded the entire Ten-Thousand-Void Universe.
