There has always been a belief that demons and beasts are of the same kind, thinking that the so-called "Demon clan" is beasts that have undergone cultivation.
Those thousand-year-old fox spirits, ten-thousand-year-old locust tree spirits... in the storyteller's tales, as well as in scattered legends and myths, bear a mission of evil, and are ultimately defeated by the warriors of the Human race.
Some say demons and beasts share a common origin, that demonic nature is inherently lustful, and demon beasts are a hybrid of demons and beasts. The Nine Dragon Sons have different appearances, which serves as a strong piece of evidence.
These sayings are, of course, a form of disdainful imagination, and also a narrative deliberately guided by the ancestors of the Human race in history.
To liberate the Human race from the fear of the Demon clan, they thus moved to another extreme of disdain.
In fact, demons are demons, beasts are beasts.
