The World Academy boasts various unique resources for the development of the youth. One such asset is the awakening chamber, utilized to create trials for assessing and awakening the potential of an individual.
The noble families of the five continents enjoy privileges in the academy, allowing them to awaken their children at the early age of 5 and train them to reach their full potential.
However, commoner children have to wait until they turn 10 years old to unlock their potential and those with great potential are retained by the academy as teachers and professor's.
Peter Sánchez is the protagonist of the novel. He was an orphan from the human continent raised in an orphanage. Like all cliche protagonist he somehow *luckily* come across the necklace which has the will of the first patriarch of the Greville family.
When he came to the academy to awaken his talent at the age of 10, he was able to unlock SSS Rank potential. The principal decided to keep this information a secret and took him as his heir, believing Peter could lead humanity to victory. However, his dream turned out to be a pipedream. Despite reaching SSS Rank, Peter was brutally defeated by the SSS class Dungeon.
He was assigned to the elite class along with several students possessing extraordinary talents, most of whom were heirs of noble families from all the continents. Despite this, Peter ranked 1st in the class.
Orion, despite awakening only A Rank potential, was also part of this class and he was ranked last. The only reason he got into the elite class was due to his high marks in the theory exams, Infact he had the highest recorded marks in history of the World Academy.
"Surprised! yes you are. In reality Orion was quite intelligent in mathematical analysis and theoretical reasoning and had a really great memory, in fact I don't actually kind of like him, the only fault he had was the fact that he never had been loved."
He was isolated in the academy, but he wasn't bullied for his weakness, this was actually mentioned in one of the side stories of the novels.
Evangelion Nightshade, yeah, her sister always protected her brother in secret after all he was her only brother and she had promised her mother in her dying moments to protect her brother.
"Yes, his sister helped him to stop bullies from causing troubles, but it was a secret, and she did it because of the promise that she made to her mother, rather than out of love."
But she had deep resentment towards Orion, blaming him for mother's death, so she was basically in simple terms a *Tsundere*. Infact she was the only girl in the academy who didn't fall for Peter Sanchez's strength and continued her life in despair after her brother's death.
Unfortunately, later she became a part of his harem due to her father's greed to empower the Nightshade family by linking itself to a promising individual like Peter.
"The first person who truly showed love and affection towards him was Emma Greville, and Orion knew he knew the affair between Peter and Emma but turned a blind eye towards it and wanted to escape from reality."
Emma Greville, the third-ranking girl in the class and Orion's fiancée, was ashamed of being associated with him. She felt that her image was tarnished due to her connection with him and often ignored his presence.
'In reality Emma just wanted to use him to curb the strength of the Nightshade family, but after finding out that Peter Sanchez was stronger than Orion, she chose to have affair with him.'
"He thought it was just a crush and maybe if he can save her from a dangerous situation, she can become her hero."
During a dungeon tour in the first year, a dungeon break occurred in a C rank dungeon, resulting in the deaths of many students. In the midst of the chaos, Orion saw that his fiancée, Emma Greville, was in the path of dungeon monsters.
He decided to push her out of harm's way, but before he could do so, she was saved by Peter Sanchez, and Orion found himself in the way of the monsters.
'I mean, I don't get as to why you do this shit? rescuing a damsel in distress, I mean why? you do realize that you are going to die with your meagre strength then why do you do this sh*t?'
In his last moments, he could see her smirking at him with cold eyes as she was being held by Peter Sanchez in his arms.
Remembering that Orion was very furious deep hatred towards Emma, Peter, Julias every one of those hypocritical bastards from the human continent he wanted them to feel pain, make them bleed show them despair.
"HERO... hahahhahhahahha fool, I can't understand whom should i blame for his death. Naive when the world is trying to f*ck with you, you should f*ck it back, not preach about love and peace."
"Orion, control... control.ahhhh. damn these emotions, i sympathize with my enemies as they have to face a monster like me. I am VENGEANCE."
"Thinking about the future is a waste. got to focus on the present ok so the first thing I should do is to increase my potential through raw training and meditation."
Planning his way ahead Orion took a nap.
It was midnight, and Orion decided to go on a hunt for prey, but this time around used the rope and bone as a grappling gun and went off the mansion using the compound.
"Porcupines and rats have very little blood; the only thing which can be satisfactory is either a boar or a deer, so he scanned the forest to find marks of these animals and an hour of exploring the forest he found a lake, where there was a deer and its little baby drinking water."
Orion was in the bushes and was gradually approaching it, but just as he was about to ambush it, a huge crocodile came from the depths of the water and caught the deer by its neck and did the famous crocodile roll.
The baby deer ran over to the forest.
Orion chased it: "damn that was my hunt! one day am gonna drink your blood croco. just wait. now, now where is this baby deer?"
After running through the forest for a couple of minutes, he saw the baby deer hiding in the grove of the tree, shivering probably due to its mother's death.
Orion stepped into that place and stabbed it in the head and started feasting on it: "Sorry, buddy! You know the rules of the jungle 'SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST,' hum good your blood is too good.."
Orion stored the remaining blood in the bottle and took the carcass to the porcupine's cave to skin, eat and maybe eat it.
"My teeth have grown enough. I can eat it whole! it's gonna be my first meal in this world."
Orion took it to the cave and skinned it and ate it as it is raw.
Orion: "the juicy leg piece with seasoning of blood. This is far better than any chicken fried legs."
He devoured the entire thing, and
"burp... ahh... that was refreshing. now that I am here I will note down all the details of this hall and do some research back home. according to my analysis, it could be an ancient inheritance ground or something like that."
Saying so, he went back home to do research on the wall...
