Clovis gritted his teeth, barely withstanding Mara's strike. At least, Aileen seemed to be all right.
Jay came from a different direction. Before Mara switched her stance, Clovis struck her, stopping her from swinging her glaive. As a result, Mara had no choice but to go to the side.
Clovis realized the situation and said, "Jay, I'm going to take her on alone."
"!!!" Jay was a bit surprised. This action looked like suicide. However, Clovis might have been prepared for this from the beginning.
Erwin and Aileen had fulfilled their roles brilliantly.
Since Clovis had to maintain his position against Mara, he couldn't say anything more than that. He wouldn't have enough energy to even tell Melody what to do because he would be overwhelmed.
That was why Jay delivered the message to Melody. "Melody, change the position. We will be having Clovis as the main focus. Luci, you need to treat Aileen and Erwin before rejoining the battle."
