"Yeah. In a way, you can think of it this way. You are the player of this world, and the others are the NPCs or non-playable characters for you who don't play any games.
"Your job as a player is to kill the beasts. When the beasts die, you will get EXP and some drops. The drops can vary from beast souls, which is essentially like a skill or their bodies as materials.
"If you venture deep into the wilderness, you will unlock that part of the map. Once the humans conquer that part of the map, it will stop the spawn from that particular part. On the other hand, it will become a target for the beasts to be destroyed.
"Once the beasts take an area, they will create a spawn point. Anything won't appear if there are humans in that particular area. That's probably why you will be able to clear the area.
