"What do we do?" The other elf asked, tone filled with barely suppressed panic.
Genevieve silently observed their reactions, her face calm and composed. Though inwardly, she couldn't help but wonder.
Why are they so afraid of him? He has yet to show any hostility toward us.

She turned to Michael, hoping to gauge his reaction.
She knew that his instincts were unusually sharp when it came to judging the threat posed by a person or monster. She still remembered what he had said about Adam while they were traveling to Kinran Valley.
'Don't let his friendly demeanor fool you, Genevieve,' he had said. 'Adam is the most dangerous person I have met!'
When she turned to Michael and saw his reaction, her eyes narrowed.
Michael seemed visibly shaken by the arrival of this newcomer!
