Inside the secured room of a dilapidated building, Leah and the party gathered and had dinner.
There was no crackling fire, as they did not want to draw unwanted attention. Shadowy figures still roamed outside the building, some calling out to them, while others knocked on the doors and windows.
The talisman hanging on the wall silently warded off the evil.
In response to Leah's questions, everyone shook their heads. And she couldn't help but sigh. Although she had expected this outcome, it was still disappointing. They had traveled so far, and yet they were going to return with nothing.
A cold chill swept through the room. Add to that the constant whispers and knocks coming from outside, and the atmosphere was very eerie and foreboding.
