Katrina held the Aegis-01 Pulse Juggernaut Pilot Key in her hand for a moment before putting it away and leaving her room.
Although Springriver Manor had plenty of defensive facilities, she wanted to inspect the Mech hangar before the Zombie Wave began. With the Apocalypse System announcing another twelve-hour ordeal, she wasn't going to leave anything to chance.
After making her way through several corridors, she arrived at the hangar and immediately heard the sounds of machinery and people discussing their preparations.
The enormous facility housed numerous Aegis Series Mechs, each maintained by technicians and personnel responsible for ensuring that the machines remained operational. Some workers were inspecting weapon systems, while others were checking armor plating and testing the Mechs' mechanical joints.
Katrina recognized several people as she entered.
"Miss Katrina? You're here to check your Mech?"
A technician approached her with a curious expression.
