Nangong Yun's words sounded so high-sounding and proper, yet to the ear they were ridiculously laughable.
Bei Xier let out a cold snort, too lazy to bother with her.
"I've got things to do, I'm heading back first."
With that, she tried to walk past Nangong Yun.
Who would have thought Nangong Yun would suddenly shift her body to the side and block her way.
"What's Xi'er in such a hurry to go back for?"
Bei Xier glared at her, really not wanting to tangle with her.
But she knew she couldn't beat Nangong Yun in a fight.
"I'm going back to report the situation to my mother."
Hearing this, Nangong Yun got even more worked up, moved a bit closer to Bei Xier, clearly not intending to let her leave.
"Did you find something in the surveillance footage? Come on, tell me."
Bei Xier frowned. She really did suspect that Nangong Yun was afraid the cameras had caught some useful information.
Otherwise, she shouldn't be this interested in the surveillance.
