Ruan Tianling's hand was braced against the tree trunk, and then he couldn't walk any further.
His body suddenly toppled over, Jian Yufei couldn't support him, and fell down with him.
"Ruan Tianling, are you okay?" Jian Yufei anxiously asked him, worried.
Ruan Tianling sprawled his limbs out, weakly gasping for air: "I'm fine... I just need a rest..."

Jian Yufei got up, dragging his body into the shade beneath the tree.
She then sat down, placing his head on her lap.
"Sleep, I'll watch over you," she said softly, while using her dress hem to wipe the sweat off his face.
Ruan Tianling closed his eyes with relief and fell into a deep sleep.
Jian Yufei looked at his exhausted face, gently stroking his sweat-dampened short hair.
