"You get some rest, let me think it over."
Xiao Lang's words were just one line, no extra words.
What's he thinking about? Whether or not to divorce her?
Li Mingxi's heart was suddenly suspended, uneasy and apprehensive. What if Xiao Lang's conclusion is to divorce her, what then?
Li Mingxi's heart, already anxious, grew even more unsettled; had she known earlier, she wouldn't have texted him.
Yet, she couldn't bring herself to say she didn't want a divorce.
Not wanting a divorce means they need to have a child; otherwise, their conflicts will continue to erupt.
Anyway, Li Mingxi feels like no matter what she chooses, it's not right.
Forget it, she decided not to think about it anymore. Everything depends on Xiao Lang's decision; whatever he says goes.
Li Mingxi took a shower and only went to bed very late.
…
At daybreak, Li Mingxi heard the sound of the door opening.
She wasn't sleeping soundly, so the noise immediately woke her up.
