HOLY CGI, BATMAN. That was some of the best VFX I have seen in a superhero movie. Has James Cameron been hanging around the DC Studios lot lately?

This looks so good. It also looks like Hal has been doing this for the last decade. Did he become Green Lantern before Bruce put on the cowl?

I think by the time of Justice League, Bruce has been Batman for about a decade. And considering how much Adler loves Batman, he is probably going to make Batman the first hero in this new era of heroes in the DCU.

I think Hal became Green Lantern before Bruce decided to be Batman. But you are right about Adler making Bruce the first hero of this new age. Also, does anyone have a link to the DCU timeline?

This is how I think it goes:
10 years before Justice League: Bruce becomes Batman, and Hal becomes Green Lantern shortly after
1 to 2 years later: Aquaman events happen
A few years after Aquaman, around 4 or 5 years later: Superman, Wonder Woman, and Flash show up
Just before Justice League: Batman Part 3 and Green Lantern, leading directly into Justice League

I am not watching this movie because I am sure Hal is going to be killed off or something, since Adler wants John Stewart to be the main Green Lantern.

There was a leak from 4chan two months ago. It said that Hal had trained Kyle before, and Kyle died. That is why Hal has reservations about working with John in the movie, and it is a big part of the plot.

Everything in the movie is so vibrant. They really leaned into the color. It is beautiful.

"It will arrive by the 20th, or if there's a delay due to weather like I said, then the next day," the man with the Australian accent said through my phone.
"Okay, the 21st is good," I said. "But I need to know it'll be done properly. I don't want any fuck-ups."
"Mr. Adler, we're worth every penny, and you're paying us quite a bit to bring this to the Hinterlands. We'll bring it there in one piece, no worries."
"Good. I'm looking forward to it," I said. "And you have all the locations and details correct?"
"Everything's in order, mate. She'll be right."
I ended the call as I walked into the large room where a costume test was being done for Man of Tomorrow.
The person in costume was Milly Alcock, who had been cast as Supergirl.
While not my first choice to play supergirl Dave and others had talked me into it and now i could see what they saw as well.
Milly stood in front of a white photography screen as photos were taken. People surrounded her, adjusting her suit—carefully tugging at seams, smoothing fabric, checking proportions. It wasn't the Supergirl suit, but a Kryptonian spacesuit, which was what she'd be wearing for most of the movie. Sleek, silver-gray with dark blue accents, angular plating across the shoulders and chest.
This was her first major role, and she looked a bit overwhelmed by it all. She stood stiffly as the wardrobe team worked around her.
Caleb was there—he'd designed it, after all. I nodded to him, then greeted Milly.
"You look great," I said.
Milly smiled nervously. "Thanks. I, uh—I'm still getting used to all of this."
"You'll do great," I said. "Trust me."
She did a small spin when asked, and the suit shifted smoothly with her movement. She seemed to relax a little.
Caleb walked over, arms crossed, tablet in hand. "Not my finest work, honestly. I still think we should've done the other color scheme. More gold, you know?"
"This one is fine," I said. "Brad agrees too."
Milly tilted her head. "How's the final, you know... Supergirl suit going to look?" She smiled a bit bashfully. "I thought I was going to try that on today."
I smiled. "That one's not ready yet. It'll only be in a few scenes in the movie anyway, so we can take our time with it."
Caleb, already scrolling through his tablet, turned it toward Milly and me, showing us the designs he was working on.
Milly's eyes widened. "They all look amazing!"
Caleb grinned. "Oh, I know, honey." Then he looked at me with an unimpressed expression. "Let's hope he picks the best ones. He always picks my worst, you know."
Milly laughed, looking at me as if asking whether that was true.
I shook my head. "That is a lie."
Caleb could sometimes go overboard with his designs. It was a good thing that the ones he thought were his worst always turned out to be the ones I wanted—and the most accurate.
Seeing that everything was going well here, I decided to leave.
"I know it's ten days early," I said, turning back as I reached the door, "but Merry Christmas to all."
They waved and called out their own greetings.
Usually there was a big Christmas party here in the studio a few days before Christmas, but I wasn't going to be there this year, as I wasn't spending Christmas in LA.
I was spending it in Australia.
I made my way to my office and began looking through the report I had received on the Justice League post-production that was going on right now. As I did, Lucy called me, asking if I was sure I'd finish the next A Song of Ice and Fire book next year. I had to assure her that yes, I planned to release it when the series came out next year as well.
Then she asked some hard questions.
"So, Percy Jackson. I hope you've at least finished a quarter of it?"
I laughed nervously.
"How much, Daniel?"
"You know..."
"I don't," she said flatly.
"Well, like, umm..." I mumbled. "Nothing."
"What?"
I sighed. "I have written nothing. I threw out the last draft."
Lucy didn't speak for a moment. Then: "Oh."
"Look on the bright side—Misery is doing well..."
"I feel bad for your Percy Jackson fans," Lucy said.
"Well, they can wait a bit longer, you know?"
"Right," she said, not sounding convinced.
The call ended after a while, and I found myself scrolling through Twitter to see what everyone was thinking about Misery.
I also swiped through the Percy Jackson side of things.

I do not know why people think Adler is so Batman biased. He literally wrote one of the best Superman movies ever made.

Okay, this meme has to die. People are starting to take it at face value. Every DCU project so far has had some level of Adler's involvement, and they have all been hits. No misses. I am one hundred percent sure Green Lantern and Justice League will be great.

I am a Marvel guy, but this "Adler loves Batman too much" thing is overblown. He has given every hero a solid movie.

Honestly, I do not care if it is "Batman and Friends" as long as the movie is good. And knowing Adler and the DCU's track record, it will be.
Well, this is just unnecessary, I thought, but there is no pleasing everyone. Yes, there were issues with the DCU, but it was something I was very proud of.
There will always be people who just make up problems and then whine about them for some reason.
I was about to get off the app when I saw a tweet from Ryan Reynolds, boasting about how Deadpool would be rated R.

People were celebrating in the replies, praising him for how he managed to get Disney to agree to it. Some were saying DC would never do something like that.

I was about to respond back when I got an idea. It was something I had already planned, but I could move it forward and do it earlier.
I got up from my desk and walked out of my office, heading straight to Dave's.
Two can play that game, you fucker, I thought.
I walked into Dave's office and asked his assistant if he was in.
"Yes, he is in a meeting with Victor," she said.
"Thanks."
I walked in to see Dave sitting at his desk with Victor.
"Daniel," Dave said as I entered.
Victor greeted me as well. "Daniel."
"We need to make some changes to the Suicide Squad script," I said.
"Why?" Dave asked, raising an eyebrow.
"I need to add a new character. We might need a big rewrite in some parts."
Dave and Victor exchanged glances.
"What character?"
