The second half began with a kickoff from the Supa Eagles and after passing around the ball for a few seconds and seeing that the Tunisia team had simply continued from where they stopped in the first half and weren't pressing in the Supa Eagles' half of the field, the ball found its way to Jason.
The ball reaching Jason was a signal to the rest of the Nigerian team and as if by agreement, they instantly surged into Tunisia's half of the field in their numbers.
In the end, Eguavoen had decided to take the risk in an effort to break the stalemate.
He had told his players to go on an all-out attack at the beginnng of the second half to try to catch the Tunisia side off guard before they settled very well into their defensive positions.
