Following the Spark King's advice, Liu Shu manifested a wooden avatar in the houses of the leaders of all leaders besides the Star Chart Newts, not because of anything, but because she wanted to leave those for last.
Deep within a cave, there was a section that seemed to have been carved by intelligent creatures. Light shone through cleverly designed holes, and there was furniture and utilities, including a fireplace, among many others.
Liu Shu's avatar, while usually human-sized, was slightly modified this time around. Knowing that her body size could cause misunderstandings among the simple-minded Cave Titan Frogs, she manifested at 5 meters in height this time around.
Once she did, the sleeping Cave Titan Frog noticed a new presence and quickly stood up. Being the strongest among all Cave Titan Frogs, he had an astounding four and a half meters in height. Yet, once he saw the new arrival, he was dwarfed. "Y-You, who are you?"
Liu Shu looked down with a smile. "Do not fret. I am not here with the intent to fight. Well, it all depends on how you behave." Then, she added, keeping her gentle smile. "You should be the strongest, right? The one others call the Deep Elder."
The Cave Titan Frog looked warily at Liu Shu's wooden avatar. He had never seen something like this. And, even when their society was based on strength, it didn't mean that they were small-minded brutes. "What are you, wooden creature? Your strength feels terrifying."
"That's normal." Liu Shu chuckled, and after looking around, she moved the Avatar to sit on one of the chairs carved out of the rock. "I am a World Tree… Well, part of it. My intention with today's visit is to bring your lot under my rule. I am trying to minimize casualties, hence my untimely intrusion into your abode."
After thinking for a bit, the tall creature seemed to internalize her words and walked toward the other side of the table. As he sat down, he heard footsteps and saw a female Cave Titan Frog, followed by ten smaller ones.
His face instantly showed concern, but he quickly erased that emotion. Still unaware of Liu Shu's true intentions, the last thing he wanted was to have his family nearby and exposed to danger. Therefore, he showed a furious look and bellowed, not even letting her speak. "What are you doing here at this hour!? BEGONE!"
The woman was startled, not expecting that outburst from her usually gentle and loving partner. However, a quick look allowed her to notice Liu Shu's smiling avatar. Her frog eyes widened, her horizontal, rectangular pupils trembling. "Y-You, who are you?"
The Deep Elder became even more restless. Why was she not leaving when he had already shouted at her? Can't she sense his worry?
Thankfully, Liu Shu was not here with bad intentions. Glancing down at the curious little froglings, she smiled. "Worry not, Deep Elder. They are not in any danger."
With a wave of her hand, she summoned appropriately sized cups for everyone and offered them tea. "Come and sit with us. You will most likely be helpful in making your partner avoid mistakes."
Liu Shu's logic was that, if the Deep Elder had his family around, he would be much less likely to make rash decisions based on pride or recklessness.
While she had a talk with the Deep Elder and his family, her other wooden avatar appeared in front of the Silt Weaver's leader. This one was female, and she was part of the largest and strongest settlement of Silt Weavers around the world.
Silt Weavers were amphibians with strong pectoral fins that allowed them to "walk" on mud. Their appearance was peculiar, but in the right environment, their advantages were endless. These peculiarities led them to become one of the strongest of the five clans, even though they were far less united than the rest of the top powers.
Once Liu Shu appeared in the mud-house of the High-Clay Chief, the female amphibian jumped in fright, quickly attacking Liu Shu. In a heartbeat, the muddy floor below Liu Shu's avatar transformed, becoming incomparably solid, and closed like someone trying to clap their hands.
BANG!
Sadly, the mud shattered on contact, dealing negligible damage to Liu Shu.
"Relax, I am not here to fight." Liu Shu chuckled, but that nonchalant reaction made the woman even more scared.
With a wave of her hand, the entire ground in hundreds of meters and even the house trembled, countless spikes manifesting and streaking toward Liu Shu. Liu Shu hummed, ignoring the attacks. "No wonder you are considered a top species. Even when you are only Level 76, your attacks are comparable to those of a Level 90. No average
"W-What are you?"
This was a first. Throughout her life, her abilities had left all her opponents helpless to deal with her. Even those of the same species lacked, eventually leading her to become the strongest Silt Weaver, respected all around the world.
Were it the Spark King, Deep Elder, Queen Mistcaller, or Star Elder, none of them dared to betitle her. Yet, a strange wooden creature manifested in the middle of her house, taking all her attacks with nonchalance.
Glancing at the pathetic numbers in the system, all within a few hundred
"You are overreacting. I am not here to fight. Please relax and stop the attacks. I don't want to retaliate."
The words of the wooden creature made the High-Clay Chief flounder, not knowing how to proceed. For starters, the attacks stopped, making Liu Shu nod.
"Great, we can communicate. How about we sit together and speak?"
With a wave of her hand, she summoned a similar set of chairs and a table to that she shared with the Spark King. The female amphibian was hesitant to take a step forward. Liu Shu didn't mind.
After pouring her own and the female's tea, she spoke calmly. "First of all, I am a World Tree. I am here to speak with you because I have discerned your importance to the entirety of the Silt Weaver Clan. Henceforth, I want you to help me convince your species to surrender to me without a fight."
The High-Clay Chief kept her distance, her eyes showing some disdain. "You want us to surrender? For a World Tree, you are quite arrogant. Do you know how many World Trees we've uprooted in our lands?"
"Yes, yes. You are the mightiest, and your species is special. How many times do I need to hear the same thing?"
Liu Shu sighed, taking a sip of her own tea. Regardless of its lack of effect, as this was just an Avatar and not her real body, the taste that the roots transmitted was delightful.
"Anyway, High-Clay Chief. You seem to be someone who is not convinced until you see what I am capable of. So, let me show off a little bit."
The amphibious female sneered. "I want to see how you do it."
Liu Shu didn't delay and pointed to the side. Once the High-Clay Chief looked over, her eyes widened.
They stood on a wet beach, the sand a deep brown, with foamy waves reaching their feet. Still, at that moment, all waves seemed to recede as a mound of water grew in the distance.
After a few moments, that mound of water parted, revealing the thing that was moving the sea upward.
A gargantuan root, glowing blue veins streaking throughout its entirety, soared to the skies, towering beyond any mountain the High-Clay Chief ever saw.
As the towering root overshadowed all, the High-Clay Chief lost balance and fell onto her butt, her heart thumping so fast that it seemed about to burst. As she observed the giant root that could flatten her entire clan with its sheer size and weight, Liu Shu spoke softly. "That's one of my roots, and my body towers beyond this one root. Knowing that, am I strong enough to gather your attention?"
The High-Clay Chief saw the root fall down, a massive wave soaring up and threatening to steamroll their territory. Of course, Liu Shu wouldn't allow such a tragedy.
With a theatrical wave of her wooden avatar's hand, a giant earth wall manifested, blocking the wave and sending it back into the ocean, its momentum broken.
The High-Clay Chief looked at the wooden creature with fear in her eyes, and with no other option, she walked and sat down on the chair Liu Shu offered.
Meanwhile, deep inside one of the kelp forests underwater, a small city of fairies extended quite far. Compared to the Rose Fairies she once saw, their society level stood at a whole different level.
Liu Shu looked at the city and noticed many flower-like eggs strewn around the kelp forest. While their locations seem random, Liu Shu was quick to notice that warm currents flowed at those points, helping with the fairy's gestation process.
Among all the houses made out of different materials, one of them stood tall among them. Moreover, being underwater, the size was incredible for a fairy city.
Liu Shu appeared in what appeared to be the throne room. Her body was at the human size. Either way, this place was large enough to house a human-sized body.
The sudden appearance of the wooden humanoid sent the Queen Mistcaller into a stupor. Her adorable beady eyes glanced at Liu Shu, blinking at breakneck speeds. When Liu Shu saw that, she almost squealed at her cuteness.
As mentioned before, these fairies seem to be a mix of a fairy species and an axolotl. Hence, their faces were terribly adorable. There was a sense of derpiness, as if there was no thought behind their expressions. Yet, their expressiveness and intelligence gave that adorableness life.
Honestly, among the myriad of species Liu Shu has seen, these ones were well on the top in terms of pure cuteness.
Were they not intelligent, she wouldn't have minded keeping one or two as pets.
"Hello, Queen Mistcaller. I am Tianlian Liu Shu, a World Tree that has come to take over your world. Of course, do not worry, as I am far from bloodthirsty. Should we chat together?"
The Queen Mistcaller was speechless. A wooden creature appeared right in the middle of her throne room, only to speak absurdities that failed to completely register. Honestly, her derpy look was more than justified! Who starts a conversation like that!?
Liu Shu couldn't really resist Queen Mistcaller's adorableness, so a few root tendrils moved to grab the fairy and move her into her arms. She made sure to soften the durability of the wood, hugging the fairy into her soft body that didn't lose out to normal flesh. "You are so cute! Can I give you kisses? Can I pat your head?"
Queen Mistcaller felt her lips twitch. "What the hell are you talking about!? Unhand me this instant!"
Liu Shu pouted. "Alright…"
