Chapter 116 - Fairy Tail❌️ Foster Home✅️

"Hell Flame Dragon's Roar!"

An expulsion of crimson and orange flames flew out into the sky, ramping up the heat and making a dense fog that covered the area.

"Gahahaha! Nice one, kid! You're a natural! If only Weisslogia were around, I'd reckon you could learn his magic too." A large, flaming creature in the shape of a Dragon clapped and praised with boisterous laughter.

"Aw shucks! I think I might blush if you keep praising me." Yang, who the Dragon had been teaching, replied with a little grin.

Yang had arrived in Earthland a little over a month ago. She saw a vague mission prompt, one giving her details of a frozen fire Dragon. Wandering for a few days, she encountered weird animals and a few people until she stumbled into a frozen village. Sun Village was the home of Giants who worshipped the Eternal Flame.

As it turned out, Atlas Flame, the fire Dragon was said 'Eternal Flame'. As soon as Yang found him, she set both him and the entire village free with her own fire magic. Then, every day since, she'd been bolstering Atlas Flame with her magic and had even gave him some of her blood. The result? A far stronger Dragon who could switch between Human and Dragon forms.

And as thanks for helping him and his village, Atlas Flame began to earnestly teach Yang about Earthland's magic, history and even gave her some of his own magic. Which she was currently training to a rather successful degree.

"This emotion trigger stuff's easy. Thanks again for teaching me, big guy!" Yang grinned and nudged the flaming Dragon casually with her elbow.

"This is literally nothin' compared to what you did for me and my home. But what're you gonna do now, kid? Of course, you can stay here as long as you want but a Dragon of your strength isn't gonna just settle down." Atlas Flame asked.

Yang hummed, "I dunno exactly what yet. I like to just go with the flow, find new things and enjoy the journey, you know? Maybe I'll-"

Yang paused, immediately looking off to the South. Her heart felt like it was clenching and a terrible unease and protective instinct took over. Her eyes switched from a calm lilac to a fierce, angry crimson as she felt that inexplicable emotion hit her from far away.

"Kid..? What is it? The Ethernano's acting weird..." Atlas Flame remarked, feeling a strange icy chill travel up his back when he looked at Yang's sudden change in demeanor.

But Yang ignored him, changing in a sudden burst of light, into a White/Golden Dragon. Just as she was about to fly off, she felt Atlas Flame's hand on her shoulder.

"Hey! What's going on? Tell me and-" "I need to go. Release me." Yang interrupted, her voice losing all the warmth it used to have.

Reluctantly, he let go and watched Yang take off into the sky. Then, he felt a small wave of magic power wash over him and his village and understood. The emotion carried in that magic power, the sheer distance it must have traveled and the Draconic nature of it would only be felt by strong enough mages or Dragons such as himself.

"Crap... that magic was.." Atlas muttered to himself, settling back down as he tried to find a word that accurately described the feeling.

Meanwhile, Yang was flying as fast as she could. Being a twin, she had a deeper connection and understanding of Yin than anyone else ever could. The moment she felt her sister's emotion, she became extremely worried and enraged.

Because what Yin had felt, even for just a few seconds, was all-consuming hatred and despair. And anyone that made her Yin feel that would be burned to ashes.

"Alright how do you like this one?" Yin tossed Irene a notebook while ignoring the admiring gazes of the children seated next to them on the train.

The boat ride was uneventful but the kids woke up in Hargeon and that meant their trip to Magnolia would take longer. It also meant questions, feeding them, clothing them, bathroom breaks and excitement about their newly found magic. Thankfully though, the kids were pretty well behaved so the only headache was the magic misfire.

"I see you expanded on that song. But some references elude me. For example..-wait hold on." Irene clasped her hands over Erza's ears while she kept practicing requip magic next to her.

"This verse here says: 'I wanna sell what you're buying, I wanna feel on your ass in Menagerie, I want that jet-lag from fuckin' and flyin', I wanna squurt in your mouth while I'm riding.' Where is Menagerie? What's Jet-lag? And then there's reference to an 'If Adam ain't in your garden, you know that you can call me when you want.' What kind of reference are you making? Actually, more importantly.. what kind of song are you making?" Irene asked incredulously after taking her hands off Erza's ears.

Yin shrugged, "Blame my heat cycle. Been on it for two days now, so I got 'stuff' on my mind. And it's more of an adaptation of a song that already exists."

'Though now that I think of it.. if I released Call me by your name like that, I think Blake might get the idea the song's about her given I mention Menagerie and Adam in it.' Yin hummed thoughtfully, leaning back and grabbing onto Ultear's shirt before she could try to sneak off again.

"Perhaps I could help negate the.. cycle's intensity?" Irene offered, noting how Ultear's expression darkened when Yin had her sit down next to her again.

Yin smirked and leaned forward, eyeing Irene's impressive bust pressing against the exquisite fabric that made up Arlecchino's outfit.

"How are you going to 'help' me exactly?" Yin questioned while giving Irene a hungry look that made the redhead's cheeks flush.

"E-Enchanting, of course. I could probably figure out how to lessen the intensity.." Irene answered, feeling her face and ears warm up.

She quickly looked to Erza beside her, thankful she was so absorbed in mastering requip to notice her state.

"Nah. It's not like I need something like that immediately. If it gets too unbearable in the future and I have no access to my partners I'll consider that. Right now it's just somewhat distracting." Yin explained before turning to Ultear, "And you, quit squirming. You're acting like a brat whose never been taught right or wrong by your Mom... Oh waiiiit.."

Seeing the downright evil grin on Yin's face, along with her words made Ultear's face redden in anger. After all, she had never really explained anything, just knocked her out and said she was taking her to see her Mother. The same Mother who abandoned her and replaced her with new kids. Ultear despised her Mother.

"I hate you.. and I hate that woman..." Ultear grimaced, eyes lowering as she thought back to the day she saw her Mother happily traveling with two kids.

Two kids that weren't her..

*Pat*

Ultear blinked and looked up at Yin, who was tussling her hair around.

"You're too naive and trusting. Did you even talk to her? Did Ur see you? Or did Brain put ideas in your head about her abandoning you?"

Ultear stopped breathing. When she thought back, she realized that yes, she never even confronted her Mother about those new kids. Brain had indeed been putting ideas in her head about Ur abandoning her in that Hell. But what if that was just a lie? It was hard to accept.

Because if this was all just a plot by Brain, if this was all just a lie, if she had hated her Mother for no reason?

"Hic... Did.. my M-Mom not abandon me..?" Ultear asked while little tears fell down her cheeks.

Irene felt a pang in her heart and looked at Erza, who stopped and looked at the little former Dark Mage with sympathy. Even the kids and Rob in the next seats were quiet.

"That's something you have to find out yourself. Hearing me tell you yes or no won't make you feel any better. You have to be a strong girl and look at the world in front of you with clear eyes. Can you do that, Ultear?" Yin asked while resting her hand on her shoulder.

Ultear wiped the tears from her eyes and grit her teeth. She felt a terrible guilt and regret mixed with resentment. Until she found out from her Mother, nothing would take those feelings away. She nodded and kept wiping her eyes, yet refused to sob. She felt like she had no right to.

A while later, they arrived in Magnolia. After getting off the train, Rob turned his attention to Yin and Irene while keeping the kids in his line of sight.

"Well here we are. Fairy Tail will absolutely accept these kids, even without me coming back. But I must ask. What will you be doing next? Will you consider joining the Guild with us? With everything you've done.." Rob allowed the silence to say the rest.

Saving the kids and freeing the rest of the slaves was a pretty big deed. And then there was his old friend, Makarov the Guild Master. Even if they didn't want to join, he knew Makarov would consider freeing himself and these kids a personal favor.

"Maybe. After I talk to a kid in that Guild who knows where this little one's Mom is." Yin answered, pointing down at Ultear, who stuck close to her.

"Irene, you wanna join with little Erza? You don't need to tag along for this. You can spend some time bonding with her." Yin stated.

Irene looked tempted. There hadn't been enough time nor the right atmosphere for her to properly talk with Erza. She wanted to build a relationship but found it difficult. She didn't even know how to start. Outright saying 'Hello Erza, I'm your Mother. Why did I abandon you? Well I thought I would enchant myself onto you because I was going insane from the sensation differences between Dragon and Human' wasn't likely to go over well.

But still, she desired to have a relationship with her only child above all.

"I'll stay here then. I'd rather not separate Erza from her friends and drag her along. Besides, I can probably get enough jewels to buy us a house by the time you're back." Irene added.

"Awesome. We'll split up after I question that kid then-" Yin paused for a second before the ground shook in front of them.

The stone street cracked open like a walnut as someone landed in front of them and immediately moved toward them. Irene and Rob were instantly alerted, making a move to put the kids behind them while the figure shot toward Yin and.. hugged her?

"Yin. Are you okay? What happened? Are you hurt?" Yang asked, having already started to feel around for any injuries on her twin.

"Huh.. You came too, Yang? Why're you acting so....." Yin paused, trying to find the right words.

Because looking at Yang now, it seemed she was on the verge of snapping. Her eyes were glowing red with thinly veiled rage that was only overshadowed by concern. Yang was fussing over her while glaring down at Rob, Irene and even the kids.

"Yang.. I'm fine. What's got you so worried..?" Yin gently pulled her hands off and held them in hers.

"Seriously..? You know I could feel you, right? That soul-crushing hate and despair that lasted for a few seconds.. Of course I'm worried! What happened!?" Yang demanded an answer, though never removed her hands from Yin's.

"Oh. Ohhhhhhhh..... Sorry. I was working on emotional triggers for magic and went too far. I didn't realize you could feel it.." Yin admitted sheepishly.

Yang's eyes gradually went from red, back to lilac after Yin's explanation. She sighed in relief and hugged her sister again. Though when Yang's breasts pressed into Yin's she heard her sister groan.

"Wait ARE you hurt? Is it your chest?" Yang asked before going to cop a feel herself.

Yin stopped her in time with a forced smile and shook her head, "No! No I'm fine.. You'll get it when you hit maturity.."

While happy Yang was here, Yin internally lamented at the same time. Her heat cycle was going to be Hellish this time around, it seemed. She was determined not to be around Yang without a sufficient amount of clothing on them both. Even hugs were dangerous..

Yin then turned to the still-shocked group and cleared her throat.

"Ah.. sorry about the spectacle. Everyone, this is my twin sister, Yang."
