The weird stag had four forelegs and two rear legs, all ending in hooked claws.
A long tail dragged behind it, ending in a cluster of crystalline thorns.
Alex could feel the pressure coming out of it.
"A distortion field? Is that a modified anomaly beast?"
The creature lowered its head.
Its antlers flared.
The space between them compressed.
Alex's vision snapped, as if the distance suddenly shortened.
The monster vanished.
Then it reappeared right in front of him.
Its claws swiped down like a judgment sword.
Alex grinned.
It had been a while since he saw a monster interesting enough to be captured.
He sidestepped, then flame ignited around his hand.
BOOM!
He punched forward, releasing a shockwave that destroyed the surrounding trees.
But the stag was unscathed.
Alex could feel the space between him and the stag distort, making his fist unable to reach it.
'It can control space to this extent?'
Alex jumped back as the stag kicked with its rear leg.
