"What are you researching?" Alex asked.
"Transformation," Cyrith replied.
"I want to change my body to be more carbon-based, while still keeping the benefits of a silicon-based organism."
"So you want a biological body?"
Alex chuckled inside his mind.
'Is this a sci-fi version of Pinocchio?'
"Yes," Cyrith said.
"A silicon-based body has potential, but it is far more limited compared to carbon-based life."
Cyrith explained the difference in their power systems.
Silicon-based beings were born with stronger bodies and much longer natural lifespans.
But in exchange, their growth ceiling was lower.
For example a mother can lift a car during an adrenaline surge.
A silicon-based creature will never able to reach state like that.
That reminded Alex of the word 'chudo.'
An energy born from will and soul.
When the will was strong enough, the soul reacted and created an energy that broke common sense.
'So is that energy exclusive to carbon-based species?'
