Bringing his gaze back, Lucas didn't continue the previous topic. He didn't ask about the effect of the planet's rejection on her either. He already had an answer for that. He simply tightened his hold on her, and enjoyed the silence.
After a while, the sound of the door of the spaceship opening resounded. Rather, the door itself slid quietly to the side, but the shift in wind pressure caused air to be displaced and whistle lightly.
Following that, footsteps rang, particularly obvious in the silence of the vessel, not to mention in the ears that could hear sounds from kilometers upon kilometers all around. The couple didn't move, and simply listened as Hannah walked to her quarters with heavy, somewhat exhausted steps.
Like Lucas, she also took a shower. But she took much longer, and came out of her room only after a good while. With more stable footsteps, she arrived at the bridge, and paused, before resuming walking over with lighter steps.
