He raised his left arm to defend, and it was soon covered by bubbling magma. The humanoid missile hit him just as another more insidious assailant flashed behind him, and crushed both the captain and what remained of the scouting vessel.
Time seemed to pause, and the white hair seemed to mock Klain as he looked down. Three eyes looked up to meet his gaze, so reminiscent of the owner of the white hair that flashed through his mind. Only, these eyes carried a greyish tint, and they were narrow with hostility.
