The heaviness that had been in the training suddenly melted away, and the pores on the brown skin opened to let sweat ooze like water out of a showerhead. In an instant, Lucas turned into a fish that had been taken out of water as his chest heaved, and he inhaled and exhaled deep breaths of air. But given the smile on his face, he didn't care about his appearance at all.
Looking down at his hand, Lucas clenched it into a fist, his smile growing wider. His mind was not really on his hand, however. It was on the sensation that still felt like it remained at the tip of his fingers.
