- Felix -
The warmth of sunlight filtering in through the curtains roused me before I even opened my eyes.
My body was tangled in silken sheets, but more importantly, in Arcueid.
Her leg was draped over my waist, one arm curled around my chest. Her breath was slow and rhythmic, brushing softly against my collarbone. We didn't need to breathe, but it was a habit for us, if only to "blend in". The faintest smile tugged at her lips even in sleep.
I tilted my head, watching her. We continued our lovemaking well into the early hours of morning.
I let my fingers gently run along her back, tracing the curve of her spine. She stirred just a little, snuggling closer with a satisfied hum.
"...Mmm… my Lord." She whispered as she began to stir.
"I'm here." I murmured, brushing a kiss against her forehead.
Her eyes blinked open slowly, a lazy smile curling on her lips. "Mmm." She hummed as she buried herself closer into me. We just sat like that for some time before Arcueid eventually pulled back.
"Unfortunately, I still have preparations to make for Dagruel's envoy." Arcueid sighed as she sat up.
I watched as she stood and as the sheet slipped away from her body. I paused as I watched. Her back was to me, but that only made it worse. Or better, I suppose. The sunlight carved her a shadow that traced every curve of her spine, the flare of her hips, and her long and shapely legs.
My eyes followed the elegant sway of her curves as she moved toward the robe that appeared on the back of one of the couches in my room.
As she donned her robe, she turned to me. The robe only barely covering her body, leaving a rather large boob window in between. "I will be leaving then." She said before pausing. "I rather enjoyed our date." She said somewhat shyly, causing me to grin.
"I loved it as well."
My words brought an unconscious curve to her lips as Arcueid looked at me with a relieved expression. "Is that so? I am glad then."
"Please do see me before you leave this world, my Lord." Arcueid requested as she buttoned the robe up.
"Of course I will. You don't even need to ask."
Arcueid let out a soft smile as she nodded. "Very well. I am sure that you wish to get started on the tasks you have set out to do before leaving. I will see you later, my Lord."
I sat up on my bed as I nodded. "Mhmm, I'll see you soon then." With that Arcueid vanished in a flash of light.
With Arcueid gone, I stood up. With a wave of my hands, all the lingering scent was dealt with, and the bed was made as well as cleaned.
With another snap of my fingers, I cleaned myself up, but before I could summon my clothing, I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I said, knowing who it was. As the door opened, my clothing formed on me. A simple collared shirt, some pants, and one of the coats I regularly wore. This one was made out of the skin of an Arch Dragon or something; it was a gift from Milim.
The door opened and in came Sukuna. Yesterday, I had told him to come see me in the morning. I still had to reward him for his efforts. I agreed to get Saeko some more cooking lessons, and I would talk to Luminous about it today. Raiden would be getting her territory as soon as she had a moderate level of control over her power so she didn't level her entire territory by accident. And I had agreed to help Kurumi with her revenge, leaving only Sukuna.
Sukuna greeted me with a bow. "My Lord, you requested my presence?"
I nodded as I looked over him. He was dressed in a black and white suit with a nice little bow tie. It was perfect butler attire if you asked me. I was still a bit weirded out on how he acted, even if I was the one that caused him to change to such a dramatic extent.
"Sukuna, I wanted to ask you what you wanted as a reward for your efforts." I said as I walked over to my wine cabinet, pouring myself a glass. "You've been training diligently and were helpful during the attack on Lune." I continued as I took a sip of the wine.
Sukuna's eyes widened. "There is no need for that. My duty is to do what you command." Sukuna said with two of his hands behind his back, and the other two at his side.
I waved him off. "Yeah, yeah, I've heard all that from the others so just tell me what you would want."
Sukuna remained silent for a moment before finally opening his mouth. "If it is no trouble, I would like to understand a fraction of the gap between us, my Lord. Would you fight me?" He said, the same competitive light I saw in the original Sukuna's eyes was now in my Sukuna. It was like seeing a tiny shadow of the King of Curses again.
I grinned. "Sure, if that's what you want."
–
I looked down at Sukuna, his suit was in tatters at this point as his arms and legs slowly regenerated. We were in one of the normal reinforced training dimensions. I had only spent about 30 minutes playing with Sukuna since I did have a few things I wanted to get done today.
When Sukuna first asked me for a fight I brought him to one of the training dimensions and immediately used Time Stop, cut all of his limbs off then unfroze time.
Safe to say Sukuna was rather shocked when all his limbs suddenly fell off him and exploded into gore and energy.
But seeing as that experience wasn't very helpful for Sukuna, I offered him another fight once he regenerated. This one I didn't use any broken abilities; I just beat him to the ground. None of Sukuna's Dismantles were strong enough to even give me a paper cut, and he couldn't even touch me for him to use Cleave.
Even his Domain Expansion did nothing to me since none of the slashes were powerful enough to even cut off a strand of my hair. Of course, his flames also failed to do any damage.
Raiden, Saeko, and Kurumi were back to training, I was glad they took my words on their control seriously. Raiden was still with Middray, Saeko was using all three of Dagruel's children as training dummies, and Kurumi was with Carrion.
I was surprised to learn about their friendship, but it seems Carrion and Kurumi took a liking to fighting with each other, though they didn't do it often. Carrion and Kurumi were about equal before Kurumi's Life Reconstruction. Now, she should be able to stomp him.
According to Kurumi, Carrion was a good chew toy for her to fight when she wanted to face a chaotic fighting style that she couldn't predict easily. Other than that she preferred to fight some of the various Daemons under me, Moss being the most common one. Of course Moss always won.
I'll have to see Carrion before I leave.
As Sukuna laid on the ground I approached him. "I'll be visiting another world soon. Do you want to come with me?"
Upon hearing me, Sukuna opened his eyes, a glint of determination and excitement in them. "Khaha, yes I would, my Lord." Sukuna said as he finished regenerating. "I have understood the gap between us somewhat now. Thank you." He said with a bow.
"Uh huh, sure. There should be some people you can fight and grow against in the world I want to visit."
As he was now, I think a single Monarch could beat Sukuna without much difficulty. I didn't have an exact measurement of the Monarch's strength, but I had a few educated guesses.
A fight between Sukuna and a Monarch would still give Sukuna a chance to grow. And it's not like the Monarchs were the only interesting fighters in that world. The Rulers' vessels were also quite good from what I remembered.
Though they didn't get to shine much, they were glazed to the high heavens, so they hopefully should be able to give Sukuna a much needed challenge if necessary.
"Prepare yourself then, we'll be leaving soon." I told Sukuna as I walked off.
"Of course." Once I heard his response I teleported to my first stop, Ruberious, or more specifically, Night Garden.
I appeared in one of the many lounges littered throughout Luminous's palace. I didn't bother expanding my senses to see where everyone was or anything. I was already leaking some of my aura so Gunther or someone would come to greet me soon enough. I was willing to be patient as I did show up unannounced, though knowing Luminous, she probably wasn't actually busy with anything since she was a NEET.
I took a seat on one of the love seats as I waited.
Before long, Gunther arrived and greeted me with a bow. "Lord Felix, welcome. Lady Luminous was not expecting you." Gunther began.
I stood up to greet him. "Yeah, I just wanted to speak to her a bit about certain things."
Gunther nodded. "Very well. I imagined it was something such as that." Gunther said, though I could see an amused glint in his eyes. He seemed to be enjoying Luminous and my relationship develop a bit too much.
As Gunther led me to where Luminous was, I looked to him. "Where's Hinata?" I asked curiously.
"She is training some of the Paladins under her." Gunther answered without missing a beat.
"I see." I wanted to see Hinata as well before leaving, but I could do that after Luminous.
"How is the recovery going?" I asked Gunther as he led me through the halls.
"Things are going well. Not much damage was done to Night Garden, meaning no Vampires were truly harmed. Lune is also recovering rather wonderfully, especially due to your assistance with repairing the capital. Thank you for that." Gunther said.
"It's no problem." I hummed.
There wasn't all that much damage in the attack, to be honest. I teleported all the civilians out, and repaired the entire city, the only real losses were the Paladins that died in the battle. There were some rather powerful Monsters that Granbell had released, after all. And since the barrier was broken, their souls had already passed on by the time Luminous could get to them.
From what I heard from Hinata, their families are being taken care of, so at least there is a silver lining.
Before long, we arrived at Luminous's room, which I had become rather familiar with recently. The moment Gunther knocked on her door, I hear Luminous voice. "Come in."
Gunther opened the door for me, gesturing me to go forward. Once I was in the room, he closed the door behind me, leaving Luminous and I alone.
I sighed at the sight I was greeted with. Luminous was lazily lying on one of the couches in her room as she looked at me with half lidded eyes, her heterochromatic eyes somehow gleaming mischievously. "I was not expecting you, Felix." She said lazily as she made no movement to change her position. She was dressed in one of her usual gothic outfits.
I rolled my eyes and didn't answer as I approached the couch she was on and stared down at her sprawled figure, clearly making no intention of moving to make space.
Typical Luminous.
"Move your legs." I said bluntly, signifying my desire to sit next to her.
She smirked, not budging an inch. "You could always sit somewhere else, you know."
I raised an eyebrow. Then, without another word, reached down and lifted her legs, not too gently either, and plopped myself onto the couch where her legs had been.
"Hmph!" She let out a soft sound as I settled in, then, as if in retaliation, draped her legs right back over my lap dramatically.
I gave her a dry look. "Seriously?"
Luminous just shrugged with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "You forced your way into my space. I'm merely reclaiming it."
"Brat." I said as I gripped her thighs firmly, simply luxuriating in her body, something I knew Luminous enjoyed.
She blinked at the sudden contact, her smirk faltering for a moment before it returned with even more smugness. "Careful." She purred, her voice lower now, teasing. "You keep touching me like that and I might start thinking you enjoy this."
I didn't answer immediately, letting my fingers briefly tighten before releasing her and leaning back with an exaggerated sigh. "You already think that." I said flatly.
"True." She said cheerfully, resting her arms behind her head, clearly satisfied with herself. Her legs stayed right where they were, crossed now atop my lap. "What is not to enjoy with my divine figure draped over your legs, hmm?"
"Nothing, I'm rather enjoying myself." I said as I softly played around with her legs as I imbued some of Lover's power into my hands. I felt Luminous let out a full body shudder.
"Mmm~, yes just like that." Luminous said with a soft moan. My hands went closer and closer to her core, but I never touched it directly, only lightly brushing over it here and there, but with Lover, even that was enough to get her going.
I could feel her desires sky rocketing as some of my Love Energy flowed into her. Oddly enough, it was as if her Spiritual Body was reacting to my Love Energy as it embraced it wholeheartedly. I didn't think too much into it though; I always knew Luminous was lewd.
I ignored Luminous's hardened nipples that were imprinting into her dress slightly. "Now as much as I would like to continue this, I did come to speak about something." I said as I pulled my hands away from her thighs.
Luminous pouted at me as she quickly got her desires under control. She sighed. "I thought as much. You had been keeping your space, so I suspected this wasn't a casual visit."
I raised my hands in surrender. "I didn't mean to neglect you if that's what you felt, but I thought you'd have your hands busy with everything going on. I'm sorry if I made you feel that way." I said apologetically. Luminous seemed like a NEET and I teased her about it, but during times like these, even she had to do some work.
Luminous let out a soft giggle. "Fufufu, I suspected as much. Do not worry, I was merely teasing. I was aware of your thoughtful gestures, but do know that they were unnecessary. Should I desire for you to give me time, I can inform you myself." Luminous said as she smirked at me.
"I'll keep that in mind then."
"So what was it?" Luminous asked curiously as she waved and dangled her feet off the armrest. I'm sure those with a foot fetish would be going crazy.
"I'm going to be visiting another world soon to relax and explore some stuff. I wanted to let you know and see if you wanted to come at some point to check it out."
Seeing a new world would be a new experience for Luminous, so I'm sure she has at least some interest.
Luminous looked thoughtful for a moment before nodding. "I suppose I can visit for some time before I would need to return as I cannot leave my seat of power for too long." She said.
"Great! I'll be heading there first to get situated, but I'll come back to pick you up once that's done."
Luminous hummed in agreement. "What kind of world is it?" She asked curiously.
"It's similar to the one I told you I went to and was reincarnated from. It's a modern Earth. However, recently some magical elements have cropped up there, threats that threaten to destroy their world as they know it, and the people of that world are dealing with it. There's more to it than that, but that's the gist of it."
"I see." Slowly a mischievous smile grew on her face. "How did the date with Hinata go?"
"I was waiting for you to ask that." I said with a laugh. "It went rather well. We didn't do anything crazy. I'm sure she's told you about it by now." The two were basically best friends after all.
Luminous nodded. "She has. I was the one who convinced her to initiate it, you know? She was acting all adorable and nervous."
"I can see that." I said with a smile. "I hope you didn't pressure her though."
Luminous rolled her eyes. "Of course not, it was what she already wanted, she was merely afraid of your reaction. Despite everything she has been through, she is quite adorable when it comes to matters of the heart." Luminous said with a laugh.
"That she is, but so are you." I said teasingly.
Luminous's eyes narrowed before she huffed in annoyance. "I assume you will be giving Hinata the same offer?"
I nodded. "I will. I'm sure she'll enjoy being on an Earth since it's been so long for her."
Luminous nodded. "When do you plan to leave then?"
"The goal is later today. I just have to stop by Tempest to speak with Rimuru." I also was curious about the monsters born from my aura. I planned to check in on them to see what was up with them.
Luminous tilted her head at that, eyes glinting with sudden interest. "Oh? What does that slime want now?" She asked, clearly amused.
I chuckled. "Nothing in particular, it's more that I want to let him know I'll be out for a while. Plus, I'm sure he'll be curious about the world I'm going to. I plan to invite him, Veldora, and Ramiris as well to stop by for a bit. They could use the vacation."
I also wanted to hear how Gadra was doing from Rimuru in person, and I also had the coordinates for the kids Rimuru is looking after, so I wanted to just open a portal only Rimuru and the kids could go through by tuning it to their energy signatures so Rimuru could take them there on his own time.
Luminous and I caught up a bit more, I told her what Damrada's role as my subordinate would be, I told her about my trip to Sarion and how Laplace was no more, and mostly everything else.
Luminous hummed thoughtfully, her fingers idly brushing a lock of her silvery hair behind one ear. "So a diplomatic visit, a recruitment, and a vacation all in such a short period of time. You're starting to sound more like a proper ruler every day." Luminous teased.
"Don't jinx it." I deadpanned. "Last thing I want is to start caring about politics more than necessary."
That made Luminous laugh.
"Hopefully I can go back to enjoying myself without having to worry about politics and wars, and whatnot in the other world, at least for some time." I said with a sigh.
I seriously was not built for all this responsibility, but I was strong so I owed it to the people that relied on me to take care of them. So even if it was a responsibility I didn't want, it was one I had to deal with. I imagine Rimuru felt even worse about it.
There was a brief silence, though it wasn't awkward at all. "How long will you stay there?" Luminous asked suddenly, her voice quieter now, almost hesitant.
That wasn't like her.
I glanced at her, and for once, her expression was hard to read.
"Not too long." I answered honestly. "But I want to explore that world. There are a few things I'm curious about when it comes to that world's history."
Mostly the Itarim and what their role was in this multiversal cosmology. Both for my own curiosity and me wanting to know if they were related to Veldanava, and if they were, if there was anything Othinus could get data from that would accelerate the recreation of Veldanava's memories more.
Luminous regarded me for a long moment, her fingers playing with the hem of her sleeve. "…I see."
I smiled softly, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. "You're not acting like yourself. Don't worry, I'm not going to be gone for long, and you're going to visit me as you said, even if not for too long."
That brought a faint blush to her cheeks, quickly hidden behind a scoff. "Hmph. That is true, I suppose."
"And if you want to speak or visit again when I'm in the other world, you can always contact me with this." I said as I held my palm out, a ring made of adamantite forming in my palm.
"This is based on the Demon Lord rings. With it you can contact me even in another world." I said while handing it to Luminous.
Luminous raised a brow. "Ara, a ring already?" She drawled out teasingly.
I rolled my eyes as she slipped the ring on. "Yeah, yeah."
"Ah, I did have a favor to ask you though, it's about Saeko."
Luminous raised a brow. "Oh?"
"She said that she enjoyed learning how to cook and training with you and wanted to see if that was possible to do again. Her cooking has drastically improved alone, and for that she's grateful." I said.
"Fufufu, I also enjoyed Saeko's company despite the… issues she has." Luminous said, probably referring to Saeko's cooking. "I would be more than happy to host her if she desires. I can also arrange for some of the best chefs in the Western Nations to teach her."
"Thank you, Luminous." I said as I dipped my head.
She waved me off. "It is no matter, we are partners now. Asking such simple things is not even worthy of thanks."
"I'll keep that in mind then. That applies for me as well. If you need something, you only need to ask. I can even work on upgrading your Ultimate Skill if you want." I offered.
Luminous likely wouldn't reject me like Hinata. Hinata sought to stand by my side as an equal. She didn't think that was possible if I just helped her the entire way there. Luminous's goals were different; she wouldn't mind the help.
Luminous looked thoughtful. "I suppose I will consider it at a later date. For now, I believe it is better for me to master Asmodeus as it is."
I nodded. "Just let me know then." I said as signified my intent to get up. Luminous moved her legs so I could get up. I looked back down at Luminous who was back to laying on the couch lazily. "I'll send Saeko over soon, though do keep in mind she may have some trouble controlling her power."
Luminous blinked in confusion. "Why is that?"
"I'll leave it as a surprise."
Luminous rolled her eyes at my words.
"I'll be going to see Hinata now. I suppose I'll see you later. We can plan out a date in the world I'll take you to. I'm sure that'll be a new experience."
Luminous smiled. "I will look forward to it then."
With that, I teleported away.
- Luminous Valentine -
Gah, that bastard! He teased her, made her all sappy, and then left!
Despite the relative infancy of their relationship, she had been "friends" with him for longer, so she would miss Felix, but she would be seeing him again soon enough. She could be patient.
His earlier touches tided her over for the time being. The aching in her spirit had faded somewhat thankfully.
Bastard. He had to know what he was doing, making her practically addicted to his touch. If only she didn't find what he was doing incredibly hot. She could only blame her own odd fetishes and tendencies for that, however.
- Felix -
I concealed myself as I appeared in the training ground I sensed Hinata in. It was an open field of sorts with barriers isolating it from the rest of the world.
It hadn't been long at all since our date.
I noticed Hinata froze for a moment before continuing her demonstration. She seemed to be showing some Paladins a few useful tips for Battlewill. I ended up just waiting in the corner of the training ground as I waited for Hinata to finish, which didn't take long at all.
Once all the Paladins were gone Hinata turned towards where I was. "You can come out now, Felix."
I undid the illusion I placed on myself. "Good job sensing me. You wouldn't have been able to do that before."
Hinata rolled her eyes at my praise, though she was still preening which was adorable. "Of course I could sense you. I've been training my senses for years now, and with my increase in understanding, it was easy."
"Right." I said as I rolled my eyes. Hinata and her tsundere tendencies.
"Why have you come, Felix? Did you miss me already?" Hinata said with a somewhat smug but shy look.
I raised my brow at her words. That didn't sound like something Hinata would normally say, was she trying something new?
I stepped forwards, appearing right next to Hinata as I wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her against me tightly.
Hinata stiffened slightly at my sudden appearance, her face flushing a deep shade of red. Ah, it truly would have been a tragedy if becoming a Spiritual Lifeform took away the capability of blushing. For Humans, at least, it remained since it was a reaction their bodies remembered. Of course, they could just not blush if they really put their minds to it.
Hinata's eyes widened in surprise, and she quickly tried to push me away, though her efforts were half-hearted at best.
"F-Felix! W-What do you think you're doing?" She stammered, clearly flustered. Her usual confident demeanor seemed to crack just a bit, and the sight was... almost too cute for words.
"Ghahaha, sorry sorry, your reactions are just too adorable." I said as I pulled my arm back.
Hinata quickly stepped back, her hand still raised as if she were going to swat at me but then pausing mid-motion. She wasn't blushing anymore but I could still see the embarrassment in her eyes. It seems she wasn't used to physical shows of affection.
"I'm not adorable, Felix." She huffed.
"Sure, sure, whatever you say." I said, taking a metaphorical step back.
Hinata sighed. "So if you missing me was not the reason, then why are you here, Felix? Was it to see Luminous?" Hinata asked, though I noticed a small pout on her face.
I ruffled her hair slightly, though Hinata quickly slapped my hand away. "For you and Luminous. And for the record I totally did miss you!" I said with a grin.
Hinata crossed her arms, clearly trying to hide the smile that was threatening to break through. "Tch. You're hopeless."
"Haha sure. But there is another reason I came here. You know of my ability to hop between dimensions right?"
Hinata nodded.
"Well I'm planning to visit another world for some time, I'll probably be leaving later today."
Hinata's eyes widened and I even sensed a spike of fear, subtle but unmistakable. She was trying to keep her expression neutral, but I could see the flicker in her eyes, the tension in her shoulders.
"…Oh." She said softly.
"I came here to invite you along, I'm sure you must at least want to be on a modern Earth again, if only for the food and entertainment."
Hinata's eyes widened, this time I sensed a spike of a different emotion, excitement, relief, and one of the strongest was adoration and appreciation.
"Yes, I would like to accompany you for some time then. I do miss the food from Earth." Hinata said with reminiscence. "Tempest and Azeroth have amazing dishes, but it's not the same."
"It's a date then."
Hinata blinked as a smile bloomed on her face. "Yes… a date then."
I held my palm out as a ring similar to the one I gave to Luminous formed, though with a different design. "We can use this to communicate between worlds, I'll give you a bit of a heads up when I'll be coming to pick you up. I'll be heading there first to make sure everything is alright and make some connections so things will go easier."
Perhaps trying to manage all the people I'm inviting will be difficult. I plan to invite Rimuru, Veldora, and Ramiris, and those three are likely to accept. Milim said yes, and she'll be bringing Gaia, then Luminous and Hinata, and then Lalatina, Megumin, and Sukuna.
I had already asked Megumin if she wanted to join me earlier, and she agreed.
Though I didn't think it would be too bad. Rimuru could manage Veldora and Ramiris, whereas the rest all had good heads on their shoulders and wouldn't cause trouble.
Hinata slowly reached for the ring in my palm. Her fingers brushed against mine as she took the ring. I could feel the mix of emotions rolling around her. They were even confusing me.
Though I would never not appreciate Lover, it made reading people a lot easier. Some may consider it artificial, but I disagreed.
The moment her fingers touched it, I could already sense the flicker of heat rushing to her cheeks. Her expression remained composed at first, calm and measured, but that little blush betrayed her efforts.
"…A ring?" She asked, holding it up between two fingers like it was something she hadn't ever imagined herself holding. She clenched it tightly as if she were afraid it would vanish. Her eyes darted between the band and my face. "Isn't this… kind of excessive?"
"It's just for communication." I said innocently. "What were you thinking it was for?"
Hinata froze for a second, then narrowed her eyes. "Don't play dumb."
I smirked. "I'm not. You're the one blushing."
"I'm not blushing." She said far too quickly.
"You totally are."
Hinata huffed and turned her head slightly, letting her hair cover part of her face. "Fine then, it's just for communication." Hinata said as she slipped the ring on. It was on the same arm that the bracelet I gave her on our date was.
"I'm glad you understand." I said goadingly, though Hinata didn't rise to my bait.
Hinata clicked her tongue. "Tch. You're so annoying sometimes."
"Glad I could live up to your expectations. But now that you have agreed, I do need to head to my next stop. I'll be heading to the other world myself first and getting situated. I'll come over to bring both you and Luminous once that's done."
Hinata nodded. "Very well. I will see you then."
"See ya." I said as space warped around us, transporting me to Tempest. I appeared in front of the building that Rimuru worked out of. The moment I appeared, someone from Kurayami, the intelligence organization that Rimuru established, appeared.
This time it was a Majin I didn't recognize. She quickly bowed and introduced herself. "Lord Felix, my name is Saika. To what do we owe the honor of your visit to Tempest?" After a brief pause Saika waved her hands around panickingly. "Not that you need a reason to visit of course!"
"I'm just here to see Rimuru."
Saika bowed. "Of course, Lord Souei expected as much. Allow me to guide you to him."
I agreed, gesturing her forwards. I was getting a few looks by the Majin going about their days, but nothing bad, more just curiosity and awe. I was basically a legendary figure to most regular people. I forgot that sometimes.
As I was led through the building, I could sense the presence of a few other familiar people in the building. There was Souei, who was the head of intelligence, Rigurd, and some of the other ministers I've met.
Saika knocked on the door to Rimuru's office. "Lord Rimuru, Lord Felix is here to see you."
"I know, bring him in." Rimuru responded.
Saika opened the door for me.
"Thanks." I said as I walked through.
"You're welcome, Lord Felix." Saika said with a smile as she closed the door behind me.
I looked at the desk in the back of the room. Rimuru was in his humanoid form, looking over some documents. He mostly delegated paperwork and whatnot, but the important documents on the general direction Tempest would be taking was stuff he personally went over.
From what I understood, Rimuru's workload had mostly reduced as he found more trustworthy subordinates to handle things, so his days were far more chill than they were at the start. Though, I imagine with Tempest joining the Council of the West, he's had a bit more stuff to deal with.
"Sup Felix. You needed something?" Rimuru said as he gestured to the seat in front of him.
I took the seat. "Sort of. I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be going to another world here soon. This time it won't be like no time has passed for you, so I wanted to let you know and also ask for you to look out for Azeroth while I'm gone. I'll still be keeping tabs on my people and will have a line of communication open, but your agreement would still be relieving."
Rimuru put his paper down. "Of course I will Felix! You don't even need to ask that."
"Thanks then."
"So is it a world that I know?"
"I mean, maybe? Have you heard of Solo Leveling?"
Rimuru's brows shot up. "You're going to the world of that aura farmer?!" Rimuru said, obviously referring to Sung Jin-Woo.
"Hahaha, yeah I am. It sounded like a fun world, plus there are a few things about it that I'm curious about."
Rimuru nodded.
"I also wanted to invite you, Veldora, and Ramiris along. Milim, Luminous and Hinata have already agreed as well."
Rimuru's lips twitched. "With that line up, I wonder if the world will even survive."
"Eh, it'll be fine. Everyone I'm bringing knows self control."
Rimuru sighed. "Yeah, whatever. Sure, I'll come along! I've been wanting to be back on at least a version of earth at some point! Though it'll have to be a little later since I need to make preparations for The Dungeon since it runs on Veldora's magicules. We likely won't be able to leave for long."
I nodded. "That's fine. Plus, you'll probably be more than busy soon."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Rimuru asked cautiously.
"I managed to get the coordinates for those kids' worlds, so you just need to take them back and manage that situation."
Rimuru groaned. "Ugh, that's probably gonna be a pain. Hopefully I don't need to hypnotize anyone."
"You most probably will." I said, destroying his dreams.
Rimuru sighed. "Yeah, you're probably right…"
"Speaking of the kids, I saw Kenya again when I visited Sarion."
"How's he doing?" Rimuru asked.
"He's doing pretty well, he's learning the basics right now, so Elmesia isn't directly teaching him anything, but he seems to be adapting well."
Rimuru nodded. "Hmm, I see. So you went to Sarion again?"
I nodded. "Yeah, I was able to restore the memories of Sarion, so Laplace is no more and Sarion is alive again. I left him at Sarion."
Rimuru's eyes widened. "Really!? That's great Felix!"
I smiled. "Yeah, they had a whole family reunion and everything."
"Hopefully that means we can count on the Sorcerous Dynasty of Sarion then." Rimuru said.
"I don't think you need to worry about that."
Rimuru nodded. "I'll take your word for it."
"Though, Kenya did seem to miss his friends, so maybe after you've sorted out sending them back home you can arrange something. It's not like the kids can't go back and forth between worlds if they wanted to. It would be unfair to ask them to leave the life that they're beginning to develop behind."
Rimuru nodded. "Yeah… I'll be sure to leave that option open for them."
"How's Gadra doing?" I asked after we spoke about a few other things.
"He's fitting in pretty well. You were right when you said he was a genius. He's already making me consider making him a floor boss, maybe after some more time once I'm certain about his loyalty." Rimuru said.
I raised a brow. "A floor boss huh? That's a pretty luxurious position."
The floor bosses were all basically kings within The Dungeon. They could generally do as they pleased, they got whatever resources they wanted so long as it wasn't too much, and so on.
Rimuru shrugged. "Gadra is proving to be worthy of it, so why not."
"I see. I'm sure Adalman will be happy his friend is finding a place here then."
I leaned back against the soft cushion. "Alright, enough beating around the bush. I'm sure you're curious about the whole copying thing you learned about, right?"
Rimuru nodded seriously. "I am. I don't hold it against you for doing what you had to do to grow strong, especially in this world. I'd do the same in a heartbeat, but I still wish you trusted me enough to tell me about it." Rimuru said with a sigh.
I winced slightly at his aggrieved tone. "Yeah… sorry." I said as I apologized. "I should have trusted you enough to share that, you're right. I guess I just prefer keeping my cards close to my chest even when I shouldn't."
Rimuru sighed again. "It's fine as long as you see where I'm coming from and remember for the future. So how exactly does it work?"
I nodded as I snapped my fingers, placing a barrier of my own around the room. The room was already protected by barriers Rimuru placed with his Uriel, Lord of Vows by default, but I'd still rather be safe than sorry.
"Chloe told you right?"
Rimuru nodded. "She did when I asked her a bit more about how we were like in the other timelines."
"So what do you know so far?"
"Chloe didn't know much. Just that you could copy most phenomena you saw on sight, whether that was Skills, Spells, or Arts." Rimuru said.
"That's pretty much correct. I can analyze phenomena and replicate them."
"Being able to do that with even Ultimate Skill is crazy." Rimuru said with a chuckle.
"Yeah… it is a rather absurd ability."
"How'd you end up getting it?" Rimuru asked curiously.
I shrugged. "It was something I got as I was being reincarnated as a Daemon, my desires just lined up that way."
"I see. Well then, now that that's out of the way, you remember that fight you promised Chloe?" Rimuru asked.
"Ah, yeah."
I have quite a few fights that I've promised in the past. I told Chloe I'd fight her, same with a 3v1 with Arcueid, Megumin, and Lalatina, though for the latter three, I'm sure they don't mind waiting.
"Chloe wants to do it a bit later. She actually ended up getting a new Ultimate Skill so she needs time to get used to it." Rimuru explained.
"Ah right, Sariel."
"You know about it?" Rimuru asked.
I nodded. "Hinata told me about it."
Rimuru hummed in acknowledgment.
"There was another thing I wanted to tell you about. You remember our whole theory of Michael, Lord of Justice maybe having some form of control over the other Angelic Skills?"
Rimuru nodded seriously. "I do."
"Well that was right. I had Othinus run an analysis on the Angelic Skills I had, the control circuits were hidden very, very deeply, but they were there."
"Othinus? Who's that? Nevermind, we can talk about that later." Rimuru said worryingly. "I have two Angelic Series Ultimate Skills, so that's not good." He murmured.
"I'll give you the data on what I have on the control circuits. From there, Raphael should be able to come up with a defense against it."
Rimuru nodded. "Thank you. Raphael is going crazy in my head right now." He laughed half-heartedly.
"If Raphael is anything like how Odin was and how Othinus is then I could see it." I said as I laughed alongside him.
"Hey!"
'I didn't say it's a bad thing. In fact, it's rather heartwarming how much you worry for me.'
"...."
I felt Othinus' embarrassment which only made me smirk internally.
"Who is Othinus anyway?" Rimuru asked.
"Ah, she's the Manas born from Odin." I explained.
Rimuru's eyes widened. "What!? That's possible!?"
"Mhmm, I can tell you how if you want, though I don't think your Raphael is ready for it yet."
Rimuru nodded. "Please do tell."
"You just need to name Raphael once its ego has developed enough."
Rimuru gave me a deadpan stare. "And how do I know when that is?"
I shrugged. "You'll know." It was pretty easy to notice Odin getting a bit more expressive as time went on. "I'm sure you've already noticed Raphael getting more expressive. Just wait until you think Raphael is ready."
Rimuru nodded. "Got it. Thank you, Felix."
"No problem."
"Now that's everything I wanted to talk about." I said as I stood up. "So I'll create a gate of sorts to each of the worlds the kids come from, and set it up so that only you or the kids can go through it, so you can take them on your own time."
Rimuru could also seal their power off on his own.
"Eh? Wouldn't that cost a lot of energy to maintain?"
I shrugged. "Not really, since their earths are "closer" to the Cardinal World."
The way the summoning ritual worked is that it pulled from the nearby dimensions, so the further out ones were mostly unaffected by the summoning rituals, but due to being further it also cost more energy to travel to.
For example, the world of Jujutsu Kaisen was closer to the Cardinal World than the world of Solo Leveling which was rather far out. Solo Leveling's distance was another reason I couldn't mess with the timestreams, as the further the world, the more it cost to set up my world travel so that I returned at the moment I left.
Though I could still probably find a way to return to the Cardinal World the moment I left via time travel, but there was no need for that at this point.
Rimuru shrugged. "Alright, it's up to you then."

Author's Note:
Sup everyone, back with another chapter of Daemon. This chapter was mostly about meeting everyone that Felix needs to before leaving, since time won't be moving he does need to let people know he'll be gone and whatnot, though the chapter did go on longer than I wanted.
Next week will be a double release with the jump.
Anyways, thanks for reading, peace.
Thanks to @Salante and @Flowerman for beta'ing this chapter.
