Hoshi's POV
Tonight, at 6:01 p.m., we went out in Cebu City under its beautiful nights and its busy market streets. We went to look at the Magellan Cross, which amazes Sha, Bokuto, Saki, and Taro with its history, as well as how Magellan died. "Man, being shot with a poisoned arrow was worse than being beheaded…" Taro shivered.
"Yeah, that makes sense." I readjusted my glasses. "Eso tiene sentido."
Within me, Kuro scoffed. "Yeah, but being beheaded is faster than a poisoned arrow."
"Also, that one as well," I responded through an internal voice.
We also swung by the nearby cathedral, where most people are doing their 6 p.m. prayer vigils.
My Ate Mariya and I were Evangelical Methodists Protestants in the Alexandrian (not to be confused with the Coptic rite) tradition, so we just sat down on an empty pew and looked at the magnificent treasures of this church.
I can tell that Sha-sensei, Taro-kun, and a few others like Paulo are amazed by the interior of this place.
By 6:50 p.m., we had dinner at the stalls that sell classic Filipino street foods, burgers, fried chicken, drinks, and a few others. Our meals are street-made burgers, fries, kikiam, and some small fried chicken bites. We didn't include rice because this was already a full meal. Water and some soft drinks are our drinks. The night was quiet.
Third-person POV
Meanwhile, in the NBI headquarters in Quezon City, Croix was writing notes on Kurou Kiyama, a.k.a. Master Demon Blood, and Sha Sakiyama's employer and master. He knew how dangerous he was and was hypothesized by the Tempest Brethren to be responsible for the attacks in Hoshi's hometown of Nara City and in Yamatokoriyama, too. They also theorized that the kidnapping spree by the yokai Shuten Dōji in Osaka City was Kurou's work, too. Croix was nervous, knowing that Hoshi and his group were being targeted. So far, Kurou had no plans to come to the Philippines and ruin their vacation time. He was also looking forward to the remake of "Shake, Rattle, Roll – LRT" in 4 days.
