Continuing up through the narrowing tunnel as the territory of the earthbound titan mole disappeared behind her, Scaly felt a growing sense of unease as the battle below began growing quiet.
Sure, the earth around her still shook and the tunnel was on the brink of collapse but the magical fluctuations belonging to the earthbound titan mole below were slowly disappearing before finally being snuffed out five minutes after she had begun her ascend.
Is it dead…?
Feeling a shiver run down her spine as she realized what it meant for the magical fluctuations to so suddenly vanish, Scaly urged her now sizeable wings to flap harder as she ascended just a little bit faster than before.
Of course, she understood that the magical fluctuations vanishing could also be because the earthbound titan mole had successfully defeated the eyeless devourer of the abyss- yeah, that wouldn't be happening. Meaning the one remaining possibility beyond it dying, was it escaping.
