Knowing that the adventurers that had gathered together to hunt her on the first floor were now starting to gather up in an attempt to encircle her along with the fact that the monsters on the second floor of the dungeon weren't anywhere near satisfactory when it came to the experience they provided, Scaly decided to put aside her desire to continue hunting down monsters and began an earnest search for a path leading to the third floor of the dungeon.
Originally, this would have meant she had to get out of the sand ocean, but because she had overheard a conversation between a group of adventurers forced to linger around the surface of the sand ocean because their sand boat had been stolen by her, who happened to be happily eating a delicious sandwhirl fish on top of it, she ended up not following her original plan of searching for the passage to the third floor of the dungeon.
