Chapter 1 - Rewrite ch1

Prologue: Origins

Andrew Hayado had always been here—no sudden crash-landing, no dramatic entrance. The Hayado family had found his space pod when he was a baby and raised him as their own, fully aware of his Saiyan heritage.

By the time he was 11, he'd already decided that training was his life's calling. He had memories—strange, vivid memories of another life. A world where Saiyans were fiction, where Dragon Ball was just a story. But now he was that story. And he intended to master it.

At 11, with his family's blessing, he set out to travel the world, honing his martial arts and helping people in trouble.

At 12, during his Earth journey, he encountered something that would change everything: the Supreme Kai of Time, and a gateway to the multiverse itself.

Chapter 1: The Supreme Kai of Time (Age 12 - Flashback)

[Unknown Planet - Edge of Known Space]

Twelve-year-old Andrew stood on a barren cliff overlooking an alien landscape. Two years of traveling Earth had made him stronger, but he knew he was nowhere near his potential. He'd read about Saiyans, watched the stories unfold in his previous life, but being one was different.

I know the techniques. I know the forms exist. But without proper training, without gravity chambers or mentors…

A sudden distortion rippled through the air.

Andrew's head snapped toward it. Reality itself seemed to tear open—a swirling vortex of purple and black energy. Through it stepped a figure: tall, white-haired, with an aura of controlled power.

And behind him, pursuing—a small pink-haired woman in Supreme Kai attire.

No way. That's… that's Chronoa. The Supreme Kai of Time.

His heart hammered. And that's Mira. Which means—

The white-haired man turned, raising his hand. Dark energy gathered in his palm.

Mira: "You shouldn't have followed me here, Supreme Kai. This timeline is beyond your jurisdiction now."

Chronoa: "Every timeline is my jurisdiction! Whatever Towa is planning, I won't let you—"

Mira fired.

The blast was massive—easily enough to vaporize a mountain. Chronoa raised a barrier, but Andrew could see the strain on her face. She was strong, but Mira was relentless.

She's going to get overwhelmed.

Andrew moved without thinking.

He leaped from the cliff, ki flaring around him as he shot forward. He wasn't strong enough to beat Mira—not even close—but he could buy time.

Andrew: "HEY!"

Mira's eyes shifted toward him—a flicker of surprise, then dismissal. A twelve-year-old Saiyan was barely worth noticing.

But Andrew was already moving. He angled his trajectory, putting himself between Mira and Chronoa. His fist connected with Mira's extended arm, redirecting the next blast just enough that it missed Chronoa entirely.

Mira: (narrowing his eyes) "A child?"

Andrew: "Get out of here!" he shouted to Chronoa. "I'll hold him off!"

Chronoa: "What? You can't—"

Andrew didn't wait for her to finish. He launched a flurry of punches at Mira—none of them strong enough to hurt, but fast enough to keep the android occupied. He was using everything he'd learned from two years of solo training: timing, angles, unpredictability.

Mira blocked effortlessly, but his attention was split now.

Mira: "Annoying."

A backhand sent Andrew flying. He crashed into the rocky ground, pain exploding through his ribs. But he forced himself up, spitting blood.

Come on. Just a little longer.

He charged again—this time feinting left before driving a knee toward Mira's midsection. Mira caught it, but the momentary distraction was enough.

Chronoa's hands glowed with divine energy. "Time Labyrinth!"

The air around Mira shimmered, and suddenly he was moving in slow motion—trapped in a localized time distortion.

Chronoa: (grabbing Andrew's arm) "Come on!"

She opened a portal, and they both dove through.

[Time Nest - Moments Later]

Andrew collapsed onto the polished floor of the Time Nest, gasping for air. His ribs screamed in protest, and his vision swam.

Chronoa knelt beside him, her hands glowing with healing energy.

Chronoa: "That was incredibly reckless. You could have been killed."

Andrew: (wincing) "Yeah, well… couldn't just let you die."

She paused, studying him. "You knew who I was. And you knew who he was too."

It wasn't a question.

Andrew met her eyes. Pink, sharp, ancient despite her youthful appearance.

Andrew: "Supreme Kai of Time. Chronoa. And that was Mira—Towa's creation."

Her eyes widened. "How do you know that? You're just a Saiyan child from… where are you even from?"

Andrew hesitated. How could he explain? That he'd been reborn into this world with memories of another life? That he knew the stories, the characters, the timelines?

Andrew: "It's… complicated. Let's just say I know more than I should. About a lot of things."

Chronoa sat back, folding her arms. Her expression shifted from surprise to intrigue.

Chronoa: "You're not from any timeline I've monitored. Your energy signature is… unique. And you fought Mira despite being completely outmatched." She tilted her head. "What's your name?"

Andrew: "Andrew. Andrew Hayado."

Chronoa: "Well, Andrew Hayado… thank you. You saved my life." She paused, then smiled—genuine and warm. "Not many people would do something that reckless for a stranger."

Andrew: (managing a weak grin) "Guess I'm just that kind of guy."

She laughed—a sound that felt lighter than anything he'd heard in months of lonely training.

Chronoa: "You said you know more than you should. Does that include knowing about Saiyans? About their potential?"

Andrew: "Yeah. I know about the transformations. About pushing past limits. I just… don't have anyone to teach me. I've been training alone since I was eleven."

Chronoa's expression softened. "That's a long time to be alone."

Andrew: "It's fine. I chose this path."

Chronoa: "Maybe. But that doesn't mean you have to walk it alone." She stood, offering him her hand. "How would you like some help? I know people—warriors who've mastered the techniques you're trying to learn. And in return… maybe you could help me with some time anomalies here and there."

Andrew stared at her outstretched hand.

This is it. The chance I've been waiting for.

He took her hand.

Andrew: "Deal."
