Chapter 749 - Chapter 749: Energy Cannon and Iron Fist Suppression

"Whoosh!" At that moment, Robert's energy disc once again sliced through Damian's body in the sky. However, this time, instead of reforming into one, Damian's body split into two, each part moving independently.

Damian didn't have an effective way to counter the energy discs. Although they didn't inflict severe damage, they were a great hindrance. However, Damian seemed to have found a way to deal with them this time.

"Hmm? Splitting again? Do you have that much energy that you're not worried about wasting it?" Robert raised an eyebrow, launching an energy wave at one of the halves while pursuing the other.

"Slap!" The half that was targeted by the energy wave flashed a hint of delight in its eyes. Damian raised his small hand, ready to swat the wave away. But the next moment, something unexpected happened.

"Buzz!" The moment Damian touched the energy wave, it changed. Instead of exploding upon impact, the energy clung to Damian's hand, sending a paralyzing force coursing through his half-body.

"What is this? He has powers like this too?" Damian's eyes widened in shock as he unleashed his energy to fight against the paralyzing force.

Even though he was only half a body, Damian's power was formidable. With just a little effort, he dispelled the paralysis and regained control of his movements.

But just as Damian prepared to flee, a figure appeared in front of him. His pupils contracted as he looked at the man and muttered, "Superman!"

"Weren't you just trying to attack me?" Clark smiled at the half-formed Damian. "Go ahead, but I doubt your half-body is any match for me…"

"Oh? You haven't seen my true power yet... Hmm? How shameless!" Damian's face changed drastically as his power surged. He angrily shouted, "Is there no end to this? Are all Earthlings this dishonorable?"

"Crack!" As Damian's energy exploded, the mirror dimension that had been forming around them shattered. Without lingering for a moment, Damian turned into a cloud of black smoke and vanished.

"Hmm?" Clark frowned, realizing his plan had failed. Worse still, he couldn't track where Damian had escaped to. His super senses were effective against ordinary people, but when it came to supernatural beings, unless they were very close, his abilities had their limits.

With Damian gone, Clark's eyes scanned the area, but he couldn't locate him. Just then, Robert's voice rang in his ears: "Take this half and punch it into space. With his level of awareness, it's not going to be easy to trap him in the mirror dimension again. If we keep fighting him on Earth, it won't be long before the whole planet blows up…"

"I got it!" Clark responded quickly. Without wasting time, he appeared beside Robert, where the other half of Damian was still entangled. As Robert momentarily pulled back, Damian's half-body attempted to flee, but Clark was too fast. He struck Damian with a powerful punch.

"Boom!" Clark's control over his strength was exceptional. The punch rendered Damian defenseless but didn't obliterate his fragile form. Instead, it sent him flying.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

In no time, Clark soared into the sky, carrying Damian's half-body farther and farther from Earth with each punch.

It wasn't that Damian didn't want to resist—Clark's strength was simply overwhelming. Having divided his power, Damian couldn't muster enough energy to fight back.

Moreover, Damian was starting to feel a sense of dread. Seeing Robert's madness and Clark's overwhelming power, he began to fear Earth. He realized it was too dangerous for him.

With no way to return to his Hell dimension, Damian resigned himself to staying in the universe. After all, Earth wasn't the only life-sustaining planet. While Earth was special on a dimensional level, Damian could survive on other planets until he regained his strength. Once he was stronger, he could return to Earth and seek revenge.

Thus, with both Clark's intention to expel him and Damian's own plan to retreat, the half-body was continuously pushed into space.

As for the other half still on Earth, it wasn't able to escape Robert's relentless pursuit. Enraged, Damian unleashed another dark energy ball toward the ground.

In Damian's mind, he couldn't just be pushed into space without resistance. He needed to put up a fight, and as he expected, while Robert ignored the dark energy ball, Diana stepped in with her shield, blocking the attack and once again protecting the Earth.

"You dare get distracted?" Robert's eyes flashed with anger as he aligned his hands, gathering a terrifying amount of energy. Through the gap between his fingers, he locked onto the fleeing Damian.

"Energy Cannon!"

"Boom!" A thunderous explosion erupted in the sky, echoing through the air. Damian immediately felt his body come under immense pressure. He was completely immobilized by the energy cannon, helpless as it pushed him farther into space.

This was only the beginning. The continuous barrage from Robert's energy cannon not only pinned Damian down but also drained the energy from his half-body. It steadily propelled him further into the depths of space.

The energy cannon was indeed a formidable technique, one that had earned a legendary reputation.

Damian had initially thought Robert only wanted to push him into space. But soon, he realized something was wrong—the damage from the energy cannon was far greater than the energy waves or discs Robert had used before.

The immense power consumption left Damian's half-body weakening rapidly. But escaping from the energy cannon's grip was nearly impossible. At this moment, Damian deeply regretted underestimating Robert's strange and terrifying move.

"Damn it!" Meanwhile, in space, the other half of Damian's body flashed with anger. If the half still on Earth were completely destroyed, his power would suffer greatly.

Damian's internal energy was already unstable. Losing part of his core strength wouldn't make him more manageable; it would make his body even more uncontrollable!

Despite knowing that fleeing Earth was the right decision, Damian couldn't bear to lose so much of his core power. Finally, Damian's frustration boiled over.

"Boom!" For the first time since Clark had started attacking him, Damian struck back. This, however, was partly because Clark had slightly slowed his attacks once they reached space, but it also showed Damian's last-ditch effort as a Hell Lord.

Unfortunately for Damian, his comeback lasted only one punch. Once Clark noticed the counterattack, his expression turned serious, and Damian was once again suppressed.

In truth, if Damian had been at his full strength, he might have been able to hold his own against Clark. But after suffering from Robert's repeated assaults and splitting his power to escape, the difference in their strength had become insurmountable.

Damian's brief moment of resistance quickly crumbled under Clark's relentless power. And, as Damian struggled to regain control, the half-body on Earth was being blasted into space by Robert's energy cannon. The two halves had no chance of reuniting.

"You didn't wait for me? Already went ahead without me?" Robert teased Clark as he continued firing the energy cannon, his voice filled with amusement.

"This guy first tried to flee back to Earth, and then he tried to escape into space. I had no choice but to act," Clark replied, sounding innocent. "On Earth, I couldn't track him once he got away. If he escapes into the vastness of space, there's no chance we'll catch him again."

"Fine, I wanted to enjoy a good fight, but this guy just wasn't cooperative. I had to use all kinds of tricks to deal with him… didn't even get to fight him properly," Robert muttered, feeling a bit disappointed, though his hands never stopped releasing energy.

Clark fell silent at Robert's words. He couldn't help but wonder what Damian would think if he heard this. After all, it was Robert who had used countless tactics in battle, even self-destructing as a strategy, yet now he complained about not getting a good fight. Damian had every right to feel aggrieved!

Still, Clark was relieved. Robert's casual attitude showed that his mental state was stable, not affected by his earlier reckless combat. That was enough.

As for Damian, his end was inevitable. Few beings could claim the dubious honor of being killed by both Robert and Clark at the same time. Even if Damian didn't see it that way, his fate was sealed.

Damian, a Hell Lord who had once wielded the core power of the Dark Dimension, wasn't weak by any means. It was only his unstable dual-source of power that caused him occasional setbacks.

Damian had come to Earth with grand ambitions, hoping to harness the planet's unique dimensional properties to unite his powers and reach new heights.

However, his impatience—stemming from sibling rivalry—led him to plot the murder of his adoptive parents, which ultimately drew the attention of Robert and Clark.

Worse still, Lazarus had cut off his last fallback in the Hell dimension, robbing him of any chance of revival. Now, with his only life being crushed by Robert's energy cannon and Clark's iron fists, Damian met a pitiful end in the cold void of space…
