He strode inside.
Just before the door closed, his large hand pushed it open.
His gaze met hers, and she hastily lowered her head.
"Xixi... Xixi..."
That voice was truly terrifying, she didn't even know how to continue resisting, only stepped back in silence.
There was no time to turn on the light, the gloomy night reflected in his burning eyes like a lion long starving—amid the icy snow, starved to a terrible extent, and now, finally seeing a bountiful prey.
Instinctively, wanting to pounce immediately, to tear and bite viciously. Yet, he dared not.
This was the first time in his life he was timid: because the night disorients and breeds illusion easily.

His voice was weak.
As if still in a dream, he couldn't believe all this was real. He even strained to open his eyes wide, afraid that the next moment, all this would become a mirage.
"Silly girl..."
She still stood there quietly, just leaning against the wall, surprisingly weak.
