Claudia Ross was already exhausted, huddled in the bathtub with her two children.
She had done everything she could, and now all she could do was leave it to fate.
The fire was fierce, having spread to the bedroom, separated from the bathroom by the glass door. The red flames were visible, dancing wildly, perhaps reaching the bathroom in the next second.
Fortunately, Claudia had flooded the bathroom in time, and the water seeping through the door cracks onto the wet floor hindered the spread of fire. Although the fire was large, it hadn't reached the bathroom door yet.
There should be an alarm system in such a villa, but why wasn't it working during such a big fire?
Not even a drop of water had sprayed from the ceiling sprinklers.
Smoke was seeping through the door gaps into the bathroom, and Claudia quickly grabbed her mud mask and applied it to the gaps.
The mask sealed the gaps, blocking the smoke.
Claudia let out a long sigh of relief.
