"Really, how coincidental?" Valentine Teller stared steadily at Mark Reed, trying to find any hint on his face that he was behind it.
But he seemed even more nonchalant than her, revealing nothing, yet unexpectedly she saw herself in his gaze.
Valentine shivered on the inside, withdrew her gaze, and casually grabbed a fashion magazine to distract herself.
"It's upside down." That voice, accompanied by laughter, reached her ears again.
Damn!
It really was upside down!
She hurriedly turned it right-side up and began to read seriously.
She flipped to a lingerie advertisement page, when suddenly, a warm mouth drew close to her ear and whispered, "This body is far inferior to yours."
"You... you pervert, shameless!" Valentine unhesitatingly raised the magazine to smack him on the head—how could he say such shameless things in public? Her pretty face turned crimson in an instant, as if in his eyes, she was naked and he could see right through her clothes.
