Early in the morning, a hint of coolness permeated the air inside the villa.
Aozawa spat out the toothpaste, pulled a towel off the rack, washed his face, and then wiped his black buzz cut with the damp towel.
Looking at himself in the mirror, he saw a spirited young man. The solid muscles on his chest and arms made him strike a pose, as if he were in a bodybuilding competition.
Clasping his hands, there was no obvious explosive muscle bulge, just a feeling that his already firm muscles had become even more solid in that moment.
It was like donning Iron-Clad Armor. He somewhat understood why some people enjoy working out—the feeling of a powerful body was intoxicating.
Aozawa released his grip and turned to leave the bathroom.
Before even entering the living room, he called out, "Chitose, what's for breakfast today?"
Stepping into the living room, he found Morimoto Chiyoda wasn't there; only the serving hatch from the kitchen was open.
"Steak sandwich."
