Hearing Lu Chen's words, Chu Yuqin came back to her senses.
It seemed Lu Chen felt he couldn't possibly control all the Memory Pearls, nor could he stop certain Ancestors of the Strange from recovering their memories, so he was planning to take the initiative and help one Ancestor of the Strange recover her memories, to probe the attitude of those Ancestors and see whether he could negotiate properly with them and reach some sort of cooperation.
Their cooperation already had some foundation, since they had worked together inside the Burial Furnace, and even signed a pact back then.
Although that pact had turned them Ancestors of the Strange into Lu Chen's playthings, it was precisely because of this pact that they ultimately escaped the Burial Furnace and didn't end up as Puppets of the Netherworld Evil Emperor.
