Jiaojiao looked at her, and her heart felt as heavy as a thousand pounds.
As they neared the Lu Family's house, Zhao Li finally showed signs of fatigue. When she got out of the car, she tightly held Jiaojiao's small hand, as if afraid she would leave.
Jiaojiao had no choice but to support her alongside Lu Zishu, one on each side.
Entering the house, Zhao Li remembered the issue of the headstone and instructed Lu Zishu, "You need to expedite this matter, get it done quickly, do you understand?"
Lu Zishu glanced at Duan Xi standing behind with an unpleasant expression, then at Jiaojiao on the other side, nodded vaguely, trying to brush it off.
But Zhao Li wouldn't allow it, she poked his forehead and reprimanded, "Did you hear what I said?"
Lu Zishu had to give Duan Xi a pleading look, then replied to Zhao Li, "Mom, I heard, and I've noted it down."
