Returning to the hotel room, Qin Yuji took off her coat and hung it on the rack, while glancing back at Chi Jingxuan who followed her in.
A man's prime?
Chi Jingxuan chuckled, "A woman's prime at thirty-one makes more sense. Who uses flowers to describe men?"
Hearing his tease, Qin Yuji gave him a surprised look, "Haven't you heard that joke before?"
Seeing Chi Jingxuan looking puzzled, Qin Yuji shrugged, amused yet helpless, "A man at thirty-one is at his prime, while a woman at thirty is like tofu dregs."
After a moment's pause, Chi Jingxuan burst into laughter.
He wrapped Qin Yuji in his arms and affectionately rubbed her nose, softly saying, "Don't worry, not just at thirty, even at sixty, you'll still be in your prime. As for other women, I have no interest whatsoever, so whether they are in their prime or like tofu dregs, it doesn't concern me."
