Fu Mingyu didn't expect that he had only been away from S City for four days, and so much had happened that even a lawyer had found Nuan Nuan.
Unable to explain over the phone, Fu Mingyu drove straight to Joyful Garden and waited downstairs for more than half an hour before the tardy Wen Nuan appeared.
"Have you gotten your driver's license?"
Fu Mingyu asked as he got out of the car, seeing Nuan Nuan shake her head. He then remembered she had just turned 18 and casually said, "Then take the test during the summer vacation."
"Oh."
Nuan Nuan nodded softly, following alongside Fu Mingyu as they headed up the stairs, muttering under her breath, "I have to study and practice piano, and now I have to get a driver's license. I feel like a kid being watched by adults."
Hearing Nuan Nuan's complaint, Fu Mingyu looked back at her.
Nuan Nuan shrank her neck and dared not say anything more.
