There wasn't a trace of arrogance in his tone, only absolute conviction. Luke had never been the type to bow his head or play second-in-command. His pride, his status, and the man he had forged himself into simply wouldn't allow him to become anyone's subordinate, no matter how capable or powerful Leo was.
