The next day, when Nero woke up, he discovered that he was slightly more energetic than usual. There was not an ounce of drowsiness in him, and all the soreness in his body seemed to have magically disappeared. It seemed like the treatment from yesterday was already beginning to show its effects.
Nero found it to be a minor disappointment, then, when their daily drill was very ordinary, and another fireteam assignment. Though, the added weights on his body ensured that he did not have an easy time either, so it was good enough.
