"I made a deal." Abram said, his voice echoing in the place. "With his older brother, Satan."
"HAHAHA!!!"
Vulas let out a hysterical laugh, his gaze mocking as if he had looked at the biggest idiot.
His laugh slowly died, crimson eyes locked on Abram. "Have you lost your mind?"
Abram did not speak nor take offence, he just stared at him.
"Did you forget the rules passed down by the thirteen families?" Vulas asked, his voice growing colder. "He who stood by Satan's side has a fate worse than death!"
Abram turned to look at him, the bell on his antlers rang like death's chime.
"Our ancestors were fools, they always feared those stronger than them." He said, gruffly. "I am not like them, I can assess and understand when to use others and when to back out."
The man draped in a full yellow coat let out a soft chuckle that cut through the tense atmosphere.
His facial expressions and even his body structure were hidden behind the coat.
