From the day she crash-landed at my place, Amunet kind of became a regular.
Perhaps it was her spoiled nature, but she never left a chance to pester Amun.
"Why are you weak, despite being a God?" Amunet asked, walking behind Amun on the bank of Thebes. "Do you have some mental problem?"
"I don't know." Amun replied, trying to get away from her. "I have never thought about it."
"Why don't you go out and find what's wrong with you?" Amunet asked, giving him a skeptical look. "You could gain a lot of influence--."
"I don't want to." Amun cut her off, closing his ears. "I just want to live in peace."
Amunet gave him a scornful look. "You are a little pathetic for a God."
Amun ignored her and walked on the edge of the bank.
There, above a large rock, there were many foods and beverages lying unattended.
Amun walked towards it, cleaned his hands with the river water, and picked them up.
He began eating the fruits while Amunet gave him a perplexed look.
