Aqualina slowly wiped the blood on Aether's face as she heard the story of what had just happened here, and she couldn't believe they had actually encountered one of the metallic figures in the barrier borders of their own Empire.
"Did you guys really not see that?" Aether asked in a curious tone.
Both Sandra and Celestia shook their heads… they didn't see any kind of white golden light flickering on the chair or anything.
"Looks like we need to increase our patrols," Aqualina said as the handkerchief, drenched in water, touched his face. She wrung it out and stroked his cheek with deliberate slowness.
Aether hummed as he let her do it without hesitation. He glanced at Sandra, who seemed to be pouting but not showing it clearly. He smiled softly, saying, "We need to look into this matter. If they could appear inside the barrier, that means they could appear anywhere without alerting us. We need to be vigilant about this situation."
Sandra nodded. "I will prepare for it."
