After arresting Young Aether, Commander 10 dragged him toward the door in the warehouse.
He entered a sequence into the glowing security panel, and with a deep mechanical hum, the door unlocked and slowly slid apart. Young Aether silently stood behind him, carefully memorising every digit that flashed across the holographic keypad, thinking it might become useful later.
"The code changes every hour," Commander 10 said without even looking back, his voice carrying a hint of amusement, as though he had already guessed what Young Aether was trying to do.
"No point in wasting your memory on it."
Without waiting for a reply, he gave the glowing restraint around Young Aether's wrists a sharp yank.
"Come on."
The moment they stepped outside, an intense flood of white light washed over Young Aether's vision. His eyes instinctively narrowed as they slowly adjusted beneath countless high-intensity spotlights suspended across the colossal steel framework overhead.
