Yang Ruxin and her group had already arrived at Songquan Villa, a sprawling estate of over five hundred acres. Given its proximity to the prime real estate around Beijing, it was considered quite large, especially with two hot springs located on the property.

Although the Empress Dowager rarely visited, the buildings were exceptionally well-constructed. The main courtyard was a stunning three-entry complex with exquisitely carved beams and painted pillars, requiring no renovation.

One of the hot springs was enclosed within the courtyard, surrounded by three marble pools with varying temperatures, making it convenient for the owner to enjoy a soak.

The second spring was not far from the main courtyard, topped with a spacious hall, and the spring's water was channeled outside into two separate rooms, allowing villagers to bathe without mingling the genders.
