Shen Biran ought to have thought of these problems, and when she did, wondered whether things would really end up like this.
Gu Qingyuan often thinks that if his relationship with Shen Biran hadn't deteriorated to this point, how could so many problems and conflicts have exploded?
And on top of that, Gu Qingyuan shouldn't need to overthink it all. If he keeps going on like this, he'll really end up forgetting what his original purpose in doing all this was.
His purpose has always been very simple: he wants to gain Shen Biran's forgiveness.
The things in the past are precisely the part he finds most impossible to forgive himself for, so he hopes Shen Biran can forgive him, forgive him once more.
Choosing to forgive is probably not easy; after all, he was the one who indirectly caused the current situation, and trying to turn this situation around is not an easy task.
If Gu Qingyuan could picture what would happen in the future, maybe things wouldn't have turned out this way now.
