Tan Yanli snapped out of her awkward situation. She reached out to push Lin Runjie away, but he didn't move back. Instead, he looked into her eyes with a smile. After being away on a business trip for a few days, he realized he missed her. This feeling was strange, but he didn't dislike it.
She looked at Lin Runjie in a daze. He must have just taken a shower, as droplets of water were still trickling down from the ends of his hair. The scent of the body wash, his usual brand, was pleasant.
Lin Runjie gazed at Tan Yanli, slowly leaning closer to her, almost about to kiss her, when she suddenly reached out and pushed him away. Awkwardly, she lifted a hand to tidy her messy hair and said, "I'll go out first..."
Tan Yanli got up and walked out of the resting area. She didn't want things to progress so quickly with Lin Runjie. Less than a year had passed, and their future was still uncertain. She didn't want to get even more hurt later.
