Cherreads

Chapter 4 - Ch. 4 A vampire Pt. 1

( Eiran Pov )

5 years passed, and I'm currently six years old now. And I managed to show everyone that I was talented. Speaking at an early age, speaking Japanese and English since I already knew the two languages before.

Reading and writing were shown a few months after my reincarnation. This would be revealed to my father and mother, who, instead of cheering for my talent, would instead use me for their own gain.

My mother, a famous actress, trained me to become a child actor for her company, and she personally taught me to dance and act to perfection. Her standards were so high that no one would be able to survive.

As I grew up, she made me learn about fashion, playing the piano and violin. I even managed to win a few tournaments as well. This would turn in my mother's favor as she used this chance to brag and heighten her career with me as her son and child actor.

But even through harsh training, I managed to develop a few skills called [ Musician], [ Acting], [ Singing ], and [ Dancing ].

During these times, I felt like a prisoner or more like a doll for them. Once I reached 5 years old, my father sent a martial arts teacher to toughen me up. And the teacher wasn't holding back per my father's word.

I was beaten until his words " I could take a beating," which was excruciating and painful. The instructor was strict but also showed mercy when I exceeded his expectations.

Father would only come by and watch me get beaten he didn't show any reaction before leaving for his company.

After a year of beating, I managed to develop a new skill. [ Pain Tolerance], and [ Resolve ] these two skills helped me endure the harsh training.

[ Pain Tolerance: Able to ignore 20% of pain from damages.] [ 2/10]

[ Resolve: Increases Health by 20% after an injury.][2/10]

I looked at the panel before looking down at the city of Tokyo. After five years, I managed to sneak out and look at the city in the middle of the night.

The air smelled different than before. I looked up to see the red moon. My instincts warned me as I continued to gaze at the moon before looking back down.

I wanted to search the city for anything unusual. Whether supernatural or magical, I needed to search what world I am in.

And now it was late at night, my mother was on some late night show, my father was meeting with another company in Hokaido, and my instructor and teachers went back home.

I managed to escape the maids and servants from years of sneaking around them. I stood up from the rooftop and easily made my way down and escaped to the city.

It didn't take long to find myself in the middle of Tokyo crossing the street, so much nostalgia hit me as I felt a smile on my face. For once, i truly felt free, and the thought of running away crossed my mind.

' No, not yet. I should at least use my family's resources as much as I could before running away.' I told myself as I observed everyone that walked next to me.

Even though it seems I was relaxing and enjoying myself, I still observed my surroundings and kept my guard up as my paranoia would be in an all-time high when I'm around a group of people.

But just as I was about to continue my walk, I stopped a hand from touching my shoulder in reflex. I stared at the man, but I saw no danger, only a gentle smile. But I could feel it, my guts and instincts screaming at me.

" Oh my, I apologize if I startled you, young one." He smiled as he took his hand back.

" Are you perhaps lost?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.

I hesitantly shook my head and stepped away from him.

" No... I'm fine." I replied as I started walking away. I used every strength in my face to keep it from reacting the feel of fear I was feeling.

[ Acting ] was a good skill to leanr to hide Mt facial expression and as I made it across the street I couldn't help but look back and see the man still smiling and waving across the street.

That man was odd and getting a clearer head. I had theory, but maybe this man was important to this world. Even though I felt the fear creeping back in, I didn't hesitate to follow him after the street lamp changed.

I quickly activated [ Sneak ] to follow him. The man is tall with a cloak over his head, and it looks like no one was able to see him.

But just as I turned the corner, I lost him. I blinked my eyes as I looked around to see no one in sight. This time, I listened to my body and ran away back to where other people were at.

But even though I was back onto a crowded street, I could shake off the feeling I was being watched. I knew I screwed up by being too curious, but it seemed this world was more of a supernatural than magical.

The only way to escape was to use mana and [ Stealth] to escape, using Mana strengthens and empowers the skill to its fullest potential. And even though I barely practiced my mana, it was the only way to escape.

[ Stealth activated: 90sec left ]

I had to move ve quickly, or the skill would become undone.
