Aksai stood near the barrier of the Everwood Farmland, his breathing still uneven.
His heart had not fully calmed down yet. The image of the two shadows in the void lingered in his mind like a bad dream that refused to fade.
He closed his eyes for a moment and slowly circulated his Spirit essence, forcing himself to relax.
"Those beings…" he muttered softly. "They were on a completely different level."
Before he could sink deeper into his thoughts, a familiar presence appeared beside him.
"My liege."
Aksai opened his eyes and saw Yelia standing there. Her calm voice made Aksai get back to his current state.
"We have finished feeding the newly grown draconic Bluewind Eagles," she reported. "Lini is supervising the rest of their care. Most of them have fallen asleep and their training regime would start after they have gotten plenty of rest."
Aksai nodded. "Good. Make sure they don't fight over food."
